FIGURE 3. Current known distribution of Euglossa hugonis Moure, 1989 (here understood as a junior synonym of Euglossa rugilabris Moure, 1967a) (circles) and Euglossa juremae Moure, 1989 (squares). Brazilian states where these species occur are represented by acronyms: AC = Acre, AM = Amazonas, PA = Pará, RO = Rondônia. Distributional data on Brazilian bees based on my personal examination of specimens in museums; on Peruvian bees extracted from Bembé (2004, 2007) and Rasmussen (2009); on Ecuadorian bees from Roubik (2004); on Colombian and Venezuelan bees from Ramírez et al. (2002). Circles and squares represent the exact location where the bees were collected in Brazil, Ecuador and Peru. Precise information concerning the exact localities are not available from Colombia and Venezuela and the circles in those countries only indicate that the species were recorded there, not necessarily at the localities under the markings.
