LP MOON MERGED TELEMETRY DATA V1.0

The Lunar Prospector merged telemetry data set is a result of comparing the two Lunar Prospector telemetry data streams and selecting one of them. The Lunar Prospector raw telemetry data downlink stream contains data transmitted in real-time and data that was collected about 50 minutes prior and stored on the spacecraft. The merged telemetry data set contains raw science and instrument engineering data acquired by all of the science instruments (Gamma Ray, Neutron, and Alpha Particle Spectrometers, and the Magnetometer and Electron Reflectometer), along with spacecraft engineering data.

ISEE 3 Merged Vector Helium Magnetometer (MAG), and Solar WInd Plasma (SWP), 2 min CDF Data

These Files provides access to ISEE 3 Merged Field and Plasma 2-min data generated at the NSSDC as part of preparing ISEE 3 data for the creation of new OMNI data sets. Input to the data set were ISEE 3 Magnetometer, MAG, 1 min Data, Solar Wind Plasma, SWP, 24 s data, and spacecraft position 1 day data, all obtained from ftps://spdf.gsfc.nasa.gov/pub/data/isee/isee3/. Pertinent documentation may be found at the same FTP directory. The annual files of this ASCII data set may be accessed at ftps://spdf.gsfc.nasa.gov/pub/data/isee/isee3/2_min_merged_mag_plasma/as well. Time span: magnetic field from 1978-09-11 to 1982-10-12 and solar wind plasma from 1978-09-11 to 1980-02-19. Note that the magnetic field is given in Spacecraft-Centered, Solar Ecliptic, SE, coordinates.

ARTEMIS P1 field-plasma merged data, near moon

This data set contains 96s and 384s resolution magnetic field and plasma ion data from the THEMIS-B ESA and FGM instruments during the near moon (ARTEMIS) phase of the spacecraft life (>~September 1, 2010). The data are at each resolution for several mutually exclusive, contiguous hours during most days. The field-plasma-merged data set was created at GSFC/Space Physics Data Facility (SPDF) as part of the LunaSOX effort, from CDAWeb data sets THB_L2_ESA (good quality, high angular resolution mode only) and THB_L2_FGM. Geocentric spacecraft and moon orbit data from SSCWeb were used to add geocentric and selenocentric spacecraft position data to the merged data set records.

ACCLIP WB-57 Aircraft Merge Data

ACCLIP_Merge_WB57-Aircraft_Data is the pre-generated merge files created from a variety of in-situ instrumentation collecting measurements onboard the WB-57 aircraft during the Asian Summer Monsoon Chemical & Climate Impact Project (ACCLIP). Data collection for this product is complete.ACCLIP is an international, multi-organizational suborbital campaign that aims to study aerosols and chemical transport that is associated with the Asian Summer Monsoon (ASM) in the Western Pacific region from 15 July 2022 to 31 August 2022. The ASM is the largest meteorological pattern in the Northern Hemisphere (NH) during the summer and is associated with persistent convection and large anticyclonic flow patterns in the upper troposphere and lower stratosphere (UTLS). This leads to significant enhancements in the UTLS of trace species that originate from pollution or biomass burning. Convection connected to the ASM occurs over South, Southeast, and East Asia, a region with complex and rapidly changing emissions due to its high population density and economic growth. Pollution that reaches the UTLS from this region can have significant effects on the climate and chemistry of the atmosphere, making it important to have an accurate representation and understanding of ASM transport, chemical, and microphysical processes for chemistry-climate models to characterize these interactions and for predicting future impacts on climate. The ACCLIP campaign is conducted by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) and the National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR) with the primary goal of investigating the impacts of Asian gas and aerosol emissions on global chemistry and climate. The NASA WB-57 and NCAR G-V aircraft are outfitted with state-of-the-art sensors to accomplish this. ACCLIP seeks to address four scientific objectives related to its main goal. The first is to investigate the transport pathways of ASM uplifted air from inside of the anticyclone to the global UTLS. Another objective is to sample the chemical content of air processed in the ASM in order to quantify the role of the ASM in transporting chemically active species and short-lived climate forcing agents to the UTLS to determine their impact on stratospheric ozone chemistry and global climate. Third, information is obtained on aerosol size, mass, and chemical composition that is necessary for determining the radiative effects of the ASM to constrain models of aerosol formation and for contrasting the organic-rich ASM UTLS aerosol population with that of the background aerosols. Last, ACCLIP seeks to measure the water vapor distribution associated with the monsoon dynamical structure to evaluate transport across the tropopause and determine the role of the ASM in water vapor transport in the stratosphere.

Merged Sentinel-3A and Sentinel-3B OLCI Global Binned CyAN Project, True Color (TC) Data, version 5.0

Cyanobacteria Assessment Network (CyAN) is a multi-agency project among EPA, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), and the United States Geological Survey (USGS) to support the environmental management and public use of U.S. lakes and estuaries by providing a capability of detecting and quantifying cyanobacteria algal blooms. The sensor spatial resolution is 300m. The CONUS images use a 50m land mask, while the Alaska product uses a less refined 500m land mask. The temporal resolution depends on the sensor and date with best coverage since 2018, as images utilize sensors on two Sentinel-3 satellites.
