inspired by medieval polarms this weapon takes features from weapons such as: The voulge, The bardiche, The billhook, and The Halberd. a blade for chopping slicing and striking. a long and lethal spike to penatrate otherwise invincible plate armour. and a sharp hook for hooking things. this weapon is a perfect blend of reality, fantasy and functionality. this is the highpoly version. i am new too modeling and consider myself a student, please leave me any constructive critisism no matter how minor. thank you. Medieval Gilded Donkey Figurine

Culture: [Medieval](http://n2t.net/ark:/99152/p0gjgrsxwzx) Material: bronze (gilded). Dims: H 8cm Accession No: MG 139/025 Current Location: [The Hunt Museum](https://www.huntmuseum.com/) [Limerick](https://www.geonames.org/7778675/limerick-city.html). A gilded bronze donkey with a [bridle](http://vocab.getty.edu/page/aat/300248092) of browband, noseband, cheek-strap and throat-strap. A hole in its back suggests a saddle or pannier. The gilding has mostly worn away on the centre back. The four hooves are clearly defined and the long tail hangs straight. The ears sit up straight and the mouth is slightly open. Opposing holes on the mouth suggest a [bit](http://vocab.getty.edu/page/aat/300248085) and reins were attached. Domestic donkeys have origins in Egypt c.4000BC. They were vital to trade route expansion and later the Roman Empire relied on donkeys as pack animals to navigate routes such as the Silk Road from the second-century BC. Lorrha Medieval Graveslab (TN004-010024-)

Broken recumbent medieval graveslab at the eastern end of the 15th century Augustinian priory (TN004-010006-) in Lorrha, County Tipperary. Partial remains of a slab the surface of which is decorated with a Latin cross with faint traces of a possible sword carved into the shaft of the cross. The presence of a sword on the slab may indicate the grave of a male figure who may have had the right to bear arms. Lorrha monastery was founded by St. Ruadhán who died in 584 and was referred to as the 'lamp of Lothra', his feastday was held on the 15th of April when the 'cuckoo began to call'. For more information on the graveslab, visit: https://maps.archaeology.ie/HistoricEnvironment/?SMRS=TN004-010024- Source: Objaverse 1.0 / Sketchfab
