ForClearingDet - Image dataset of annotated RGB images for object detection in forestry clearing operations

Image dataset of 4 annotated forestry object classes (tree trunks, rocks, vegetation and humans) for object detection during forestry clearing operations. The imbalance of the object class "human" in this dataset was compensated for by the utilisation of the dataset available at https://www.kaggle.com/datasets/karthika95/pedestrian-detection.

FIGURES 10–12 in A sketch-based system for modeling 3D objects: Applications to taxonomy
FIGURES 10–12. Examples of usages of our system. Fig. 10. Cactus: (a) coloring effect; (b) hatching effect; and (c) resulting 3D model. Fig. 11. Comparison of a bird reconstructed by our approach and previous works. (a-b) Results from similar drawings, modified from Li et al. (2017) and Ramos et al. (2018); (c) results from our system with multiple layers. Fig. 12. Flower: (a) illustration with overlapping contours; (b) our sketch done by selecting the contours in the original illustration with the Halo Effect; (c) layer coloring effect; and (d) resulting 3D model.

The belt-like object from Vimose (3)
The 3D model presents a hypothetical digital reconstruction of the belt-like object from Vimose (2nd century AD, Nationalmuseet, inv. no. 24223). The original artefact consists of a copper alloy hinge that pivots around an iron pin with a copper alloy ring. Two fragments of mail fabric are attached to the left and right sides of the hinge (for further details see «Wijnhoven, M.A. (2022) A Roman Iron Age assemblage of mail armour from the weapon deposit of Vimose, Journal of Roman Military Equipment Studies, № 21»). The reconstruction is based upon the measurements of the actual artefact. The authors of the reconstruction are Aleksei Moskvin (Saint Petersburg State University of Industrial Technologies and Design) https://independent.academia.edu/AlekseiMoskvin Mariia Moskvina (Saint Petersburg State University of Industrial Technologies and Design) https://independent.academia.edu/MariiaMoskvina Martijn A.
