Doppler Reflectometry Graphical Demonstration Movie with IPF-FD3D

Doppler reflectometry is a microwave scattering diagnostic for measuring wavenumber resolved density fluctuation strengths in plasmas. Especially in fusion plasmas, turbulence is an ever-present phenomenon.

This movie illustrates the scattering processes involved in building a wavenumber spectrum from scattering at different wavenumbers. For artistic purposes, the wave packets are much shorter than in a real application, where is would be quasi-continuous. The probing wave is emitted at different angles, which satisfies a different wavenumber matching condition each time.

The finite difference time domain code IPF-FD3D was used to calculate the wave field inside the plasma.

Reference: Lechte C, Conway G D, Görler T, Tröster C and the ASDEX Upgrade Team 2017 Plasma Phys. Input files and movie visualizations for convection models discussed in Becker and Fuchs, "Generation of evolving plate boundaries and toroidal flow from visco-plastic damage-rheology mantle convection and continents", manuscript revised for G-Cubed

These input files are for the CitcomS software as available on github.com/geodynamics/citcoms and used in the version under commit 2bda530. They can be used to recreate the models discussed in Becker and Fuchs (revised manuscript submitted to G-Cubed, 11/2023), with model codes discussed and listed in Table 1 of the preprint as provided here. We also provide selected animations of the time dependence of model output, referenced to the same model names.

FLYD-Movies : FLYing-spot thermography Dataset - thermal Movies

This dataset contains several thermal recordings performed using flying-spot thermography. Thermal scans are subsampled from 100 Hz to 50 Hz. Then the scans are encoded using avi file format. Unzip the archive to access to the thermal scans. Netflix Movies and TV Shows Recommendation with Neo4j

Recommendation for movies can help discover new and enjoyable movies. This study uses the Neo4j Graph Database to create a recommendation system using the Netflix Movie Dataset. The objective of this research is the development of a movie recommendation algorithm using the k-NN similarity algorithm and FastRP node embedding machine learning. The results have provided recommendations based on similar attributes, such as actors, directors, country, type, and rating.
