FASHION AS A CULTURAL PHENOMENON
<p><em><span>Fashion is a multifaceted phenomenon that encompasses not only the transformation of people’s outward appearances but also serves as a crucial indicator of social, cultural, and historical processes. It reflects shifts in societal values and perspectives, offering deeper insights into the dynamics of society. Over the centuries, fashion has evolved from a symbol of status and power to a more accessible means of self-expression. In the 21st century, it takes on new meanings, functioning not only as a mode of communication and identity but also as a platform for addressing pressing social issues such as feminism, sustainable development, and cross-cultural interactions. This article analyzes fashion trends through the lens of historical social changes and cultural contexts, emphasizing the importance of fashion in contemporary society.</span></em></p>
