Dataset for survey on applications of graph analysis

This archive contains data collected and processed while conducting our survey on graph analysis applications. We provide data from three stages of our process to facilitate validation and reproduction of our results. All results are provided in TSV format (Tab-Separated Values). The completed survey will be submitted for publication in the near future.

The file "1-query-results.tsv" contains the top 100 search results for 8 queries performed using Google Scholar. For each result we include the query used, the title of the result, and a link to the publication.

The file "2-filtered-relevant-results.tsv" contains the subset of search results we found to be relevant, i.e., the work describes an application of graph analysis.

The file "3-characterization-of-selected-results.tsv" contains a selection of 60 applications (articles) we reviewed and characterized based on our taxonomy for graph analysis applications. Included are the domain of each application and a set of characteristics. For each characteristic, a value of 1 represents that we consider the characteristic to be present in the surveyed application. Legend for characteristics:

Graph features:
- Directed
- Weighted: vertex (V), edge (E), edge weights removed after filtering low weight edges from input (*).
- Heterogeneous: vertex (V), edge (E).
- Properties: vertex (V), edge (E).
- Temporal
Analysis methods:
- Neighborhood Statistics: clustering coefficient (C), degree distribution (D), other (*).
- Paths & Traversals: shortest path (S), average path length (A), maximum path length (M), traversal (T), other (*).
- Connectivity: weakly connected components (W), strongly connected components (S).
- Centrality & Ranking: betweenness centrality (B), closeness centrality (C), degree centrality (D), PageRank (P), other (*).
- Clustering: rule-based (R), community-based (C).
- Subgraph Isomorphism & Mining: pattern detection (P), subgraph isomorphism (S), frequent subgraph mining (F), discriminative subgraph mining (D).
- Graph Mutation: construction (C), reduction (R).

Dataset of measured binaural room impulse responses for use in an position-dynamic auditory augmented reality application

The dataset includes measured binaural room impluse responses (BRIRs) using a head and torso simulator (KEMAR). The measurements are realized for six loudspeaker positions. Five loudspeakers are placed in a standardized five-channel surround setup with the left and right speaker at +/-30° from the center speaker. The left-surround and right-surround speaker are placed at +/-120°. The distance to the midpoint of this setup is 3.5 m. The sixth loudspeaker is placed 1.35 m from the midpoint and 150° to the right side of the setup. Loudspeakers of type Geithain R906 are used.

The BRIRs are measured at nine positions within the loudspeaker setup. For each position the artificial head is turned 360° in the horizontal plane with a step size of 5°. Next to the midpoint position of the setup, frontal, backward, and lateral positions are measured. The covered plane size is 4m x 4m. The figure 'scheme.png' gives an overview about the names and setup (included in the download of the dataset).

A TV studio at the Technische Universität Ilmenau is used as room for the measurements. The figure 'studio.jpg' (included in the download of the dataset) shows the room in a prior configuration as a TV studio (the left wall as scenery setting is removed). The setup is build up in the left side of the room (gray floor area). The room has a total size of 19.5m x 11.5m x 5.5m. The reverberation time (RT60 from 80 Hz to 18 kHz) is approx. 0.7 s. The C50 and C80 are 15dB and 17dB.

The BRIR dataset is used for the synthesis of new BRIRs at diffferent positions in the room using methods described and evaluated in [1] and [2]. Please feel free to use the measured BRIRs for your research and your project!

---
[1] Brandenburg, K., Cano, E., Klein, F., Köllmer, T., Lukashevich, H., Neidhardt, A., Sloma, U., and Werner, S., “Plausible Augmentation of Auditory Scenes Using Dynamic Binaural Synthesis for Personalized Auditory Realities”, to be published in Proc. of: Conference of the Audio Engineering Society (AES) Audio for Virtual and Augmented Reality, USA, 2018.

[2] Werner, S., Neidhardt, A., Klein, F., and Brandenburg, K., “Comparison of Different Methods to Create an Interactive Augmented Auditory Reality Scenario Using Sparse Binaural Room Impulse Response Measurements”, in Proc. of DAGA 2018, Garching, Germany, 2018.

SAP Application Log Analysis pilot dataset

A CSV file prepared from application logs stemming from an SAP BI Warehouse system. This realistic dataset was generated as a means to showcase the SAP pilot use-case of the TOREADOR project.

Each line corresponds to a user action.

Extid, object and subobject were extracted from the BI system logs, along with the user name and event date.
Role was retrieved from the standard user actions

Label indicates whether the event is benign or malign - Elevation_of_privileges is an event the user should not be able to perform within the boundaries of his role. Priv_abuse is about a privileged account performing an action breaching a confidentiality clause (e.g. an administrator reading sensitive data). Forgotten_user is about a user who stayed inactive for a long time before being used again (e.g. an employee who left the company where the account was not terminated). Records where no malign activity was detected were marked 'benign'.

Outbushours was computed from the time of the action, and mapped to 'inside' or 'outside' business hours.
