D2.2 IPSP Dataset_under EC review

<p>This dataset is part of the DIAMAS project deliverable &#39;IPSP Database&#39;. The dataset contains a section of the DIAMAS survey where respondents authorised the DIAMAS project to include that information. After data cleaning and manual checking, this dataset contains data for 651 IPSPs. Data from Turkey will be added at a later stage. IPSP names are rendered in various languages. All IPSP URLs were tested with a Google Apps script, resulting in changes to 149 URLs, and the removal of three that did not resolve. IPSPs were further subdivided into ERA regions: Eastern Europe, Northern Europe, Southern Europe, Western Europe, Northern Africa, and Southwest Asia. IPSP responses from outside the ERA are out of scope for the report but included in the dataset in the region &#39;rest of the world&#39;.</p> <p>The dataset provides the groundwork for the IPSP Registry, due to be delivered in June 2025 as part of DIAMAS Work Package 4: Building capacity through knowledge-sharing.</p> <p>All data are available for reuse under a CC0 license.</p>

Machine Learning Applications in Marketing: Literature Review and Research Agenda

<p>Currently, machine learning applications in marketing allow to optimize strategies, personalize experiences and improve decision making. However, there are still several research gaps, so the objective is to examine the research trends in the use of machine learning in marketing. A bibliometric analysis is proposed to assess the current scientific activity, following the parameters established by PRISMA-2020. Machine learning applications in marketing have experienced steady growth and increased attention in the academic community. Key references, such as Miklosik and Evans, and prominent journals, such as IEEE Access and Journal of Business Research, have been identified. A thematic evolution towards big data and digital marketing is observed, and thematic clusters such as &quot;digital marketing&quot;, &quot;interpretation&quot;, &quot;prediction&quot;, and &quot;healthcare&quot; stand out. These findings demonstrate the continued importance and research potential of this evolving field.</p>

Identifying the drivers and responses of abrupt changes across spatial and temporal scales in ecology: a review

Recently, the theoretical basis for understanding abrupt changes in ecosystems relative to regime shifts has emerged (Ratajczak et al. 2018). Abrupt changes are defined as, “substantial changes in the mean or variability of a system that occur in a short period of time relative to typical rates of change” (Ratajczak et al. 2018). Despite a driver-response framework to guide the environmental conditions under which abrupt changes are likely to occur coupled with many examples of unexpected changes from long-term ecological research, our theoretical basis of understanding of abrupt changes doesn’t include long-term scales, variability in drivers and responses, changes in the magnitude or direction of drivers, or the interactions among multiple drivers across spatiotemporal scales (sensu Ratajczak et al. 2018). Further, a critical review of the literature is lacking and essential to further understanding how common abrupt changes are detected and reported, as well as patterns and scales of drivers and responses of abrupt change in ecosystems. To address this knowledge gap, we searched the existing ecological literature for evidence and commonalities of abrupt change across ecosystems to identify commonalities and differences of abrupt change drivers and responses across terrestrial, freshwater, and marine ecosystems. We specifically asked the following questions: (1) How common are abrupt changes reported in the ecological literature? (2) How do driver and response temporal and spatial scales of abrupt changes compare and vary across terrestrial, freshwater, and marine ecosystem types? (3) Is there relative congruence between the temporal and spatial scale of drivers and responses? (3) What are common types of drivers and responses to abrupt changes, and how do they vary across ecosystem types? (4) What terms are most associated with drivers and responses of abrupt changes among ecosystem types?

<p>Test datasets and result files for review on web based collation tools <a href="http://www.juxtacommons.org/"><em>Juxta Web Service</em></a>, <a href="https://lera.uzi.uni-halle.de/"><em>LERA</em></a>, and <a href="http://variance-viewer.informatik.uni-wuerzburg.de/Variance-Viewer/"><em>Variance Viewer</em></a> (see <a href="https://ride.i-d-e.de">RIDE</a> issue on Tools and Environments for Digital Scholarly Editing).</p> <p>The first dataset (lorem-*) are constructed dummy texts in TEI, based on filler texts. They cover some basic cases of textual variance.</p> <p>The second dataset (hamlet-*) is based on a TEI encoded version of Shakespeare&#39;s <em>Hamlet</em>, taken from <a href="http://quartos.org">The Shakespeare Quartos Archive</a> (CC BY-NC 2.0), with a simplified baseline encoding.</p> <p>The result files (result-*) were produced with the web based collation tools mentioned above. The LERA results are available in PDF, while the other two tools provided TEI-XML. There is an extra configuration file for Variance Viewer.</p>

The file DOKU_All TiAb-Screening_20200116_cap contains all 3453 records (merged from original and update search) that were subjected to title-abstract screening. The file DOKU_All FT-Screening_20200116_cap contains all 174 records that were subjected to full-text screening. The file DOKU_All Included_20200116_cap contains all 26 records that were included into the final review.</p> <p>In addition, a PRISMA flow diagram (Fig. 1 in the paper) is available in TIF format.</p>
