Data for: Proteomics reveal biomarkers for diagnosis, disease activity and long-term disability outcomes in multiple sclerosis

Protein levels were measured in cerebrospinal fluid samples (CSF; n = 186) and plasma samples (n = 165) from persons with multiple sclerosis and healthy controls. CSF samples and plasma samples were taken from 92 persons with CIS or RRMS at Linköping University Hospital, Sweden and 51 persons with CIS or RRMS at the Karolinska University Hospital, Sweden. Everyone fulfilled the revised McDonald criteria from 2010 and 2017 for CIS or Multiple sclerosis (MS). Age-matched healthy controls (HC) were recruited from healthy blood donors (23 at the Linköping University hospital and 20 at the Karolinska University Hospital). The concentration of 1463 proteins were measured using the Olink Explore platform which uses Proximity Extension Assay (PEA) technology. The proteins were preselected from four Olink panels: Explore 384 Cardiometabolic, Explore 384 Inflammation, Explore 384 Neurology, and Explore 384 Oncology. The protein concentrations are given as Olink’s relative protein quantification unit on log2 scale: Normalized Protein Expression (NPX). The NPX values were intensity normalized by Olink.

Spatio-Temporal Activity Data Across Professional Classes in Kandy, Sri Lanka

Overview

This dataset includes motion data from 100 people in Kandy District, Sri Lanka, collected over approximately 21 days from 13 different professional categories using GPS tracking. The GPS coordinates are clustered and presented as location strings, which show each person's visited locations along with timestamps recorded every minute. The dataset covers 7 zones: 'IndustrialManufactureZone', 'CommercialFinancialZone', 'AdministrativeZone', 'AgriculturalZone', 'EducationZone', 'ResidentialZone', and 'MedicalZone', and features 18 unique locations within these zones.

Request Access

To obtain access, users must provide the following details in the request message:

A brief description of the intended use of the dataset, outlining the purpose of their study (maximum 250 words).

Principal Investigator’s name

Affiliation

Affiliated website

Lousonna: the activities and economy of an ancient town, Small finds dataset, Intermediate repository for completed data

Lousonna: the activities and economy of an ancient town through an archaeological and digital study of its finds (Lausanne, Switzerland)

An SNSF-funded project (Swiss National Science Foundation) : Lousonna: activités et économie d'une ville antique par l'étude archéologique et numérique de ses mobiliers. - Intermediate repository for completed data. Main language: French

These datasets are the product of a research group funded by the SNSF. They include all the coins, glass objects and metallic or non-metallic artefacts known as small finds discovered during excavations in the town of Lousonna (ancient Lausanne, Switzerland) between 1850 and 2020. A table describing the contexts of discovery is included along with three tables dedicated to the finds.
These data were produced between 2015 and 2023, using a common methodology for documenting archaeological finds.
Photographs, technical drawings and geomatic projections are not included here, but can be requested from the authors. The data are produced by the authors directly from the artefacts. The interactive projections will be available according to FAIR principles on the ArkeoGIS platform by 2026.
It can be considered as 99% complete. The remaining 1% will take years to complete. A second deposit will then be made.
The research to which they relate is still in progress as part of three PhD: A. Crausaz : Small finds from Lousonna ; N. Consiglio : Coinage in Roman Settlements in Western Switzerland ; F. Pirrami : Roman Glass Artefacts from Vidy, Yverdon and Nyon.
At the end of these three PhD (2026), all the raw data will again be uploaded and made available in a definitive form. If authorized by the public research bodies, the data will be made available under a public open licence.
