This is not the oldest, but the <em>richest</em> copy in the India Office Collection, the number of biographies here amounting to 620.</p> <p>It is not dated, but on fol. 1<sup>a</sup> there are entries from A.H. 1162 (A.D. 1749), A.H. 1183 (A.D. 1769, 1770), and A.H. 1196 (A.D. 1782).
