DAWN FC1 CALIBRATION IMAGES V1.0
Abstract ======== Framing Camera 1 is one of two identical units flying on Dawn spacecraft. This dataset includes the image files to be used in the calibration of the raw data throughout the mission. These files represent the behaviour of each individual pixel with respect to dark current generation and pixel-to-pixel non-uniformity as a function of the filter. As these are elaborated image products, not obtained from a specific image acquisition, they do not have any ancillary data.
DAWN VIR CAL (RDR) VESTA VISIBLE SPECTRA V1.0
This data set contains the spectral radiance (W/(m**2*sr*micron)) data from the Dawn VIR instrument visible channel for all Vesta encounter mission phases. The data cover the time period between 2011-05-03 and 2012-07-18.
DAWN GRAND CALIBRATED (RDR) VESTA COUNTS V1.0
The GRaND Reduced Data Records (RDR) contain a time series of calibrated spectra, counting data, and ephemeris, pointing, and geometry (EPG) data. The data set is specific to Vesta encounter. The EPG data are contained in a single file, with an entry for every science data record acquired by GRaND at Vesta. Each record has a unique identifier, spacecraft clock ticks, which is used as a serial number to identify data from the same record in other files containing spectra and counting data. The RDR data set includes a time series of corrected gamma ray spectra acquired by GRaND's bismuth-germanate (BGO) scintillator.

This volume contains the digital numbers (DN) contained in the telemetry (TM) packages of the VIR instrument on board of the spacecraft DAWN. The data are from the Vesta Encounter phase, which occurred 2011-05-03 to 2012-07-18.
DAWN FC2 DERIVED VESTA GLOBAL MOSAICS V1.0
Abstract ======== This data set includes various Vesta global mosaics derived from images acquired by the Framing Camera 2 (FC2) on the NASA Dawn spacecraft at the high and low altitude mapping orbits (HAMO and LAMO). Data are provided in cylindrical and polar stereographic projections. In addition to the mosaics, the flatfield and stray light used during the processing of the raw images are provided.
DAWN GRAND MAP VESTA GAMMA FE UNCORRECTED COUNTS V1.0
This data set provides tables of net counting rates of Fe gamma rays at 7.6 MeV measured by the BGO detector of Dawn's Gamma Ray and Neutron Detector acquired at the low altitude mapping orbit. The counting rates are accompanied by their 1-sigma standard errors of the mean and average numbers of 5-deg pixels used to derive the 30-deg counting rates and errors. The counting rates were normalized for variations of live time, solid angle of Vesta, and galactic cosmic ray intensity, but were not corrected for variations of neutron number density. The table contains the original Fe counting rates and errors reported by YAMASHITAETAL2013.
DAWN GRAND RAW (EDR) CRUISE CHECKOUT/BACKGROUND COUNTS V1.0
The GRaND EDR are a time-ordered collection of gamma ray and neutron counting data and histograms acquired by GRaND during all phases of the Dawn mission. The dataset includes state-of-health data, such as temperature and voltage readings, needed for the analysis of the counting data. The EDR is an intermediate data product derived from the raw data records using reversible operations. All higher order data products are derived from the EDR. An automated pipeline is used to process the EDR from the raw data records.
DAWN FC1 CALIBRATED CERES IMAGES V1.0
Abstract ======== This dataset contains calibrated Framing Camera 1 (FC1) images sometimes called level-1b or reduced data. It includes images from the Dawn Ceres eXtended Mission 1 Orbit 3 (XMO3, aka Ceres Extended GRaND - CXG) phase on 2017-02-19 and the Ceres eXtended Mission Orbit 4 (XMO4, aka Ceres Extended Opposition - CXO) phase on 2017-04-29. In addition, there are images from eXtended Mission 2 (XM2), orbits XMO6 (C2I - intermediate), and XMO7 (C2E - elliptical) as well as some checkout and end-of-mission star calibration images. FC1 is one of two identical units flying on the Dawn spacecraft. It was designated as the backup system to be used only in the event of a failure of the primary system, FC2. Prior to the Ceres extended mission, FC1 had only been used for in-flight calibration and to periodically exercise its various mechanisms (door, filter wheel, etc.). This is the only science dataset generated by FC1.

This dataset includes the Reduced Data Record (RDR) version of all available images acquired during the initial checkout and pre-Vesta cruise phases (Checkout, Earth to Mars, and Mars to Vesta). As in the original raw data sets, in addition to the imagery, ancillary information is stored within the image headers, as well as a detailed account of all the reference files used for the calibration. Calibration files needed for further processing are archived as a separate data set.
