Human Stromal Antigen 1 (STAG1) Cohesin Subunit SA-1; A Target Enabling Package

Loss of function mutations in the cohesin subunit gene STAG2 are common in a variety of cancers (1). These cells become dependent on the paralogous cohesin subunit STAG1 (2-4). Mutants of STAG1 that disrupt the binding to the cohesin subunit RAD21 cannot complement the loss of STAG2. This TEP examines the druggability of STAG1 as a synthetic lethal strategy to treat stag2- cancers. The TEP includes crystal structures of two domains of STAG1, alone and in complex with Rad21-rderived peptides. We performed screens of a fragment library and identified small molecules bound to pockets in the two domains of STAG1. We also developed assays for binding of RAD21 peptides to STAG1, which can be used to screen for molecules that disrupt binding.

Dataset of Sentinel-1 surface soil moisture time series at 1 km resolution over Southern Italy

The dataset consists of a time series of the Sentinel-1 (S-1) surface soil moisture (SSM) product at 1 km spatial resolution validated in Balenzano et al. (2021 a) over the Southern Italy. The specifications of the S-1 SSM product are provided in Balenzano et al. (2021 b). The SSM time series was obtained in correspondence of the ascending (RON A146) S-1 Interferometric Wide swath (IW) acquisition dates from January 2015 to December 2018 with a temporal gap between consecutive of 6 days (when both S-1A and S-1B data are available) or 12 days. On each date (183 in total), two co-registered layers are provided: mean SSM [m3/m3] and its standard deviation [m3/m3], which provides the SSM uncertainty. The retrieval algorithm is a time series short term change detection (STCD) that is implemented in the “Soil MOisture retrieval from multi-temporal SAR data” (SMOSAR) code (Balenzano et al. 2013).

Climatological global-mean Sea Surface Temperature (SST) in AWI-CM-1-1-MR simulations for CMIP6, in preindustrial, present-day, +2°C, +3°C, and +4°C climates

Daily climatologies of global-mean sea surface temperature (SST, parameter 'tos') free-running simulations performed using the coupled climate models AWI-CM-1-1-MR. The unstructured grid-ocean component FESOM was conservatively remapped to the ERA5 grid. Data was averaged across the 5 ensemble members and temporally averaged over 10-year long time periods: 1850-1859 for preindustrial climate, 2015-2024 for present-day, 2034-2043 for +2°C climate, 2061-2079 for +3°C climate, and 2091-2100 for +4°C climate.

Data is provided in .nc files, one for each climate.
