3D displacement field and fault-offset measurements for the northern Kaikōura ruptures

Contents:

1. East, north and vertical components of the co-seismic displacement field for three faults (the Kekerengu, Jordan and Upper Kowhai faults) that ruptured in the 2016 Kaikoura earthquake, New Zealand (east.tif, north.tif, vertical.tif).

2. Shapefiles containing offsets across the faults of interest, measured from the displacement field (shapefiles.zip).

3. CSV files containing offsets across the faults of interest, measured from the displacement field (csvs.zip).

Our methodology is described in the following manuscript:

Howell et al., 2019. 3D surface displacements during the 2016 MW 7.8 Kaikōura earthquake (New Zealand) from photogrammetry-derived point clouds, Journal of Geophysical Research Solid Earth, submitted.

New fault slip distribution for the 2010 Mw 7.2 El Mayor Cucapah earthquake based on realistic 3D finite element inversions of coseismic displacements using space geodetic data

The .csv files included in this repository contain the data used in the numerical model as input, while the .txt file is the output (slip on a regular grid of points on the fault planes from the joint inversion of the geodetic datasets.

Aladdin: High-Resolution Maps of Left Atrial Displacements and Strains Estimated with 3D Cine MRI

The uploaded files include high-resolution 3D images of the left atrium from 18 individuals—10 healthy volunteers and 8 patients with various cardiovascular diseases—along with their corresponding left atrium segmentation maps. Additionally, a deformation atlas based on the 10 healthy cases is also provided.

For more information, visit: https://github.com/cgalaz01/aladdin_cmr_la

3D Displacements for February 2023 Turkey-Syria Earthquake Doublet

These displacement maps are derived from abundant space geodetic data. We used five different techniques in the derivation, including Synthetic Aperture Radar Interferometric (InSAR), Range Split Spectrum Interferometry (RSSI), Multiple Aperture Interferometry (MAI), Burst Overlap Interferometry (BOI) and Pixel Offset Tracking (POT).

Slip3d.gmt is our slip distribution.

If you used our results, please cite the below references.

[1] Ma Zhang-Feng, Li Chenglong, Jiang Yu, Chen Yukuan, Yin Xinzhong, Yosuke Aoki, Yun Sangho, Wei Shengji*, et.al.
