CATCH-EyoU: Exploiting European data and testing the integrated theory of youth active EU citizenship: EACEA subset analysis
<p>This dataset was created within the research project Constructing AcTive CitizensHip with European Youth: Policies, Practices, Challenges and Solutions (CATCH-EyoU) funded by European Union, Horizon 2020 Programme, Grant Agreement No 649538. Work Package 4 of this project (Exploiting European data and testing the integrated theory of youth active EU citizenship) is focused on the re-analysis of existing European data. This dataset contains a subset of data originally collected within the project “<em>EACEA 2010/03: Youth Participation in Democratic Life</em>”, coordinated by the London School of Economic and Political Science. Specifically, an online questionnaire survey in seven European countries was conducted among young people age 15-30 in 2011. This dataset contains a subset of 22 variables that were employed for the reanalysis within the CATCH-EyoU project.</p>
CATCH-EyoU: Exploiting European data and testing the integrated theory of youth active EU citizenship: PIDOP subset reanalysis
<p>This is a subset of the full PIDOP dataset. The derived subset contains cross-sectional survey results from the PIDOP questionnaire survey that were collected in 9 European countries (incl. Turkey) during a period of 16-26 year old in 2011. The data set includes 9060 individual cases. The questionnaire used in the survey is published in Barrett, M. & Zani, B. (Eds.) (2015). <em>Political and civic engagement: Multidisciplinary perspectives.</em> Hove: Routledge (p.519-534).</p>

The Hydroperoxyl Radical Scavenging Activity of Sulfuretin: Insights from Theory
<p>This dataset contains data from the calculations described in the paper: "Nguyen Thi Hoa, Do Thi My Hang, Do Phu Hieu, Huynh Van Truong, <span class="fontstyle01"><span>Loc Phuoc Hoang, </span></span>Adam Mechler and Quan V. Vo<sup>*</sup>. (2021), The Hydroperoxyl Radical Scavenging Activity of Sulfuretin: Insights from Theory. Royal Society Open Science. 2021. The thermodynamic and kinetic calculations were applied to evaluate the <span class="fontstyle01"><span>HOO</span></span><span class="fontstyle01"><span><sup>·</sup></span></span><span class="fontstyle01"><span> radical scavenging activity of </span></span>sulfuretin (SFR) in the gas phase and solvents (water and pentyl ethanoate) by the M06-2X/6-311++G(d,p) level of theory. SFR is predicted to be an excellent HOO<sup>•</sup> scavenger in water at pH = 7.40 with <i>k</i><sub>overall</sub> = 4.75´10<sup>7</sup><b> </b>M<sup>-</sup><sup>1 </sup>s<sup>-</sup><sup>1</sup>, principally due to an increase in the activity of the anionic form following the single electron transfer mechanism. Consistently the activity of the neutral form is more prominent in the nonpolar environment with <i>k</i><sub>overall</sub> = 1.79´10<sup>4</sup><b> </b>M<sup>-</sup><sup>1 </sup>s<sup>-</sup><sup>1</sup> following the formal hydrogen transfer mechanism. Thus it is predicted that SFR exhibits better <span class="fontstyle01"><span>HOO</span></span><span class="fontstyle01"><span><sup>·</sup></span></span><span class="fontstyle01"><span> antiradical </span></span>activity than typical antioxidants such as resveratrol, ascorbic acid, and Trolox in the lipid medium. The <span class="fontstyle01"><span>hydroperoxyl radical scavenging</span></span> of SFR in the aqueous solution is ~530 times faster than that of Trolox and similar to ascorbic acid or resveratrol. This suggests that SFR is a promising <span class="fontstyle01"><span>radical scavenger</span></span> in physiological environments. </p>

Implementation of Artificial Intelligence from The Perspective of Activity Theory to Determine Contradictions in The Sales Process with The Etom Framework
<p><span>This research is a continuation of previous research that discusses the relationship between the Marketing process based on the General Procedure of the Sales or Marketing process with Activity Theory (AT) for the development of Artificial Intelligence (AI). The previous discussion requires a deeper understanding of contradictions in business process frameworks. In this case, the eTOm (enhanced Telecom Operational Map) Business Framework is used, especially in telecommunication companies. Thus, quantitative research will be obtained so that there is the potential for contradictions to arise from the socio-cultural side based on AT.</span></p> <p><span>AT in the design methodology is used on a collaborative scale. The activity system is intended to systematically understand the eTOM business framework, which has been built historically and relates to each other in its design towards the use of AI technology. By using AT as a theoretical framework, it's hoped that it will offer a wealthy holistic know-how of ways humans collaborate, i.e., perform useful collective activities, with the assistance of state-of-the-art tools, in this case, AI, withinside the complicated dynamic surroundings of contemporary-day organizations.</span></p>
