Altarpiece Virgen del Cepo, Sigüenza

The altarpiece of the Virgen del Cepo, dated 1514, is located inside the cathedral of Sigüenza (Spain). It is a Renaissance work made of alabaster and financed by D. Fadrique de Portugal (Bishop of Sigüenza 1512-1532), whose coat of arms can be seen in the lower part of the altarpiece. In the center of the altarpiece stands a sculpture of the Madonna and Child, which stands out for the tenderness shown between mother and son. 3D model made in Reality Capture using 5863 images. Additional processing completed in Geomagic Wrap and Meshlab. This work is part of the collaboration agreement signed in 2020 between Junta de Comunidades de Castilla-La Mancha and Global Digital Heritage. In the open position the figure of 36 saints can be seen, flanking the two main scenes in the middle: (below) the Resurrection of Christ and (above) the Coronation of the Virgin Mary as the Queen of Heaven. When closed the altarpieoe depicts the Adoration of the Magi and the Crucifixion of Christ. All the carved figures display their original, well preserved colours. The Boeslunde Altarpiece, left panel Altarpiece with two pairs of wings, made in North Germany ca. 1425. it came to the National Museum from Boeslunde Churh on Sjaeland, but it was probably originally placed in the Carmelite monastery in the nearby town of Skelskør, which was torn down between 1550 and 1560. The Carmelite church was dedicated to the Virgin Mary, who is also the central figure on the Boeslunde altarpiece. The colours of the altarpiece are the original ones. Boeslunde church, Sjaeland. Altarpiece of Saint John and Saint Catherine

The Altarpiece of Saint John and Saint Catherine is a work of art from the first half of the 15th century whose author could be the Master of Sigüenza or Juan of Seville. It is currently divided between the Prado Museum and the Cathedral of Sigüenza. The 3D model shows us the part of the altarpiece that is preserved in the cathedral. This altarpiece was financed by the La Cerda family, but at the end of the 15th century it became the property of the Arce family. The exact date on which it was dismembered in parts being unknown. 3D model made in Reality Capture using 684 images with additional processing completed in Geomagic Wrap. This work is part of the collaboration agreement signed in 2020 between Junta de Comunidades de Castilla-La Mancha and Global Digital Heritage. The altarpiece - the Crucifixion

The altarpiece was procured for Esrum Abbey by its abbot in 1496, Peder Andersen. After the Lutheran Reformation it was used in St. Olaf Church in Elsinore and later in Holme Olstrup Church in southern Sjalland. National Museum of Denmark (Copenhagen, Denmark). On the left, above, St. Bernhard of Clairvaux, the main figure of the Cistercian order. In a vision he helped Christ to descend from the cross. Below St. Julia, who defeated and bound the devil. On the right, above, St. Ursula and ten of the 71,000 virgins who joined her in martyrdom at the hands of the Huns. Below, St. Felicitas and an unidentified female saint.
