Green and red circles indicate stations where sponges were and were not recorded as bycatch during the 2016 survey, respectively. (1) western Bering Sea, (2) southern Chukchi Sea, and (3) the island arc slope of the eastern Aleutian Islands where it joins with the Bering Sea continental shelf.
