Jornada Basin LTER Nutrient and Ecosystem impacts of Aeolian Transport Study (NEAT) Block 3 meteorological station: 5-minute summary wind and air temperature data: 2018 - ongoing
5-minute summary data at NEAT Block-3 met station. A met station consisting of a 10-meter mast is installed on the northwest corner of the site. Air temperature, wind direction and wind speed sensors are mounted on the mast. A vertical wind profile is measured with anemometers at 0. 45m, 0.90m, 1.90m, 4.40m and 10m on the mast. A wind vane is installed at 2.50m and 8.50m. This climate station is operated by the Jornada LTER Program. This is an ONGOING dataset.
Jornada Basin LTER Nutrient and Ecosystem impacts of Aeolian Transport Study (NEAT) Block 3 meteorological station: 1-hour summary data: 2018 - ongoing
Hourly summary data at NEAT Block-3 met station. Average air temperature, relative humidity, wind speed, wind direction, and precipitation as well as albedo, incoming solar, and solar reflective are measured and calculated at an automated meteorological station installed at Jornada LTER NEAT Block-3 site.
Jornada Basin LTER Nutrient and Ecosystem impacts of Aeolian Transport Study (NEAT) Block 3 meteorological station: Daily summary data: 2018 - ongoing
Daily summary data at NEAT Block-3 met station. Average air temperature, relative humidity, wind speed, wind direction, and precipitation as well as albedo, incoming solar, and solar reflective are measured and calculated at an automated meteorological station installed at Jornada LTER NEAT Block-3 site.
Jornada Basin LTER Nutrient and Ecosystem impacts of Aeolian Transport Study (NEAT) Block 3 meteorological station: 1-second summary precipitation data: 2018 - ongoing
1-second summary precipitation data at NEAT Block-3 met station. Total precipitation per second is recorded only if there is measurable precipitation. This is recorded at an automated meteorological station installed at Jornada LTER NEAT Block-3 site. This climate station is operated by the Jornada LTER Program. This is an ONGOING dataset. IMPORTANT: Rainfall is only recorded when a bucket tip occurs on the tipping bucket rain gauge. If there is missing data due to equipment or other problems, there will be no indication of this within this dataset. The user needs to review precipitation values in the 30 minute or hourly summary datasets to determine if there are missing data in this 1 second detailed precipitation dataset.

Text-fig. 3. CT slices on Block 3. Invertebrate moulds (a, c) and remains of their hard skeletons (a, b). Large areas of limestone matrix hold either only a few scattered invertebrates or no fossil at all (b, c). Ring artefacts seen close to the isocentre of the scan (b, c) are a well-known phenomenon caused by the X-ray beams traversing the block at an insufficient radiation dose (as expected in such a large block of dense material), and are not part of any physical structure present therein (Triche et al. 2019). in Hidden Treasures Uncovered: Successful Detection Of Fossils Below The Surface In Large Limestone Blocks Using A Standard Medical X-Ray Ct Scanner

Figure 3 Frame blocking of the speech signal-Development an Automatic Speech to Facial Animation Conversion for Improve Deaf Lives

The next frame will begin M samples (i.e. 156 samples) after the first frame, and it will
overlap the first frame by N-M samples (256 – 156 = 100 samples). Then the third frame will start
at 2M samples after the first frame and it will overlap first frame by N-2M. The fourth frame will
start at 3M samples after the first, and it will overlap it by N-3M. The process will continue until all
input signal is accounted for. The result of this step plotted using MATLAB plot command and
displayed in Figure 3.
Figure 3 Frame blocking of the speech signal
The next step in the processing is to window each individual frame so as to minimize the
signal discontinuities at the beginning and end of each frame. The concept here is to minimize the
spectral distortion by using the window to taper the signal to zero at the beginning and end of each
frame. If we define the window as w(n), 0 ≤ n ≤ N −1, where N is the number of samples in each
frame, then the result of windowing is the signal
y (n) = x (n)w(n), 0 ≤ n ≤ N −1 l l
