<p>Cette base de données est issue d’une enquête quantitative par questionnaire (n= 378, année 2021). Elle est construite sur la base de la théorie du comportement planifié. La variable dépendante est l’achat de biens et/ou de services par internet.</p> <p><em>Contenu de la base de données</em></p> <p>Le questionnaire comprend les mesures suivantes : 2 variables de segmentation (piratage et type d’achat), le comportement de l’individu (2 items : fréquence et récence), l’impact du Covid-19 sur la fréquence d’achat (1 item), l’intention comportementale (2 items dont 1 d’identité personnelle), les croyances sur les bénéfices attendus (11 items), l’attitude (3 items), les croyances sur les freins perçus (13 items), la perception de contrôle sur le comportement (2 items), les normes descriptives (2 items), les normes injonctives (2 items), 3 variables de signalétique (sexe, âge et CSP). L’administration étant réalisée en ligne, la base de données comprend également une variable « temps de saisie » du questionnaire qui pourra servir à épurer la base. Toutes les variables à échelle sont mesurées en 6 points.</p>
Investigating the effects of COVID‑19 lockdown on Italian children and adolescents with and without neurodevelopmental disorders: a cross‑sectional study - DATASET
<p>Dataset to support the findings in the journal paper titled "Investigating the effects of COVID‑19 lockdown on Italian children and adolescents with and without neurodevelopmental disorders: a cross‑sectional study".</p> <p>Each row is a different subject.</p> <p>Each column represents an answer to the questionnaire. For single choice questions, the answer was reported as-is (Italian). For multiple choice questions, the alternatives where splitted in several columns and the answer was coded as 0/1 (one hot encoding). For the "school" column, 2=primary school, 3=middle school, 4=high school. For the "school.class" column, classes from 4 to 8 belong to primary school, from first to fifth grade; classes from 9 to 11 belong to middle school, from first to third grade; classes from 12 to 16 belong to high school, from first to fifth grade.</p>
Survey on the Effects of COVID-19 on the Wellbeing of Mexico City Households (ENCOVID- 19 CDMX – JULY 2020)
<p>Amid the COVID-19 outbreak, the ENCOVID-19 CDMX provides information on the well-being of Mexico City households in four main domains: labor, income, mental health, and food insecurity. It offers timely information to understand the social consequences of the pandemic and the lockdown measures. It is a cross-sectional telephone survey that, in addition to the four main domains and a set of COVID-19 related questions, includes key indicators to capture the impact of the pandemic on issues like education, social programs, and crime. This is the first dataset of the project, corresponding to July 2020, collected four months after the lockdown began in Mexico. Data collection was performed between the 8th and the 17th of July.</p>

Differential Gene Expression Datasets for "Identification of candidate repurposable drugs to combat COVID‑19 using a signature‑based approach"

Immuno-proteomic profiling reveals aberrant immune cell regulation in the airways of individuals with ongoing post-COVID-19 respiratory disease
<p><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span>Some patients hospitalized with acute COVID-19 suffer respiratory symptoms that persist for many months. We delineated the immune-proteomic landscape in the airway and peripheral blood of healthy controls and post-COVID-19 patients 3 to 6 months after hospital discharge. Post-COVID-19 patients showed abnormal airway (but not plasma) proteomes, with elevated concentration of proteins associated with apoptosis, tissue repair and epithelial injury versus healthy individuals. Increased numbers of cytotoxic lymphocytes were observed in individuals with greater airway dysfunction, while increased B cell numbers and altered monocyte subsets were associated with more widespread lung abnormalities. 1 year follow-up of some post-COVID-19 patients indicated that these abnormalities resolved over time. In summary, COVID-19 causes a prolonged change to the airway immune landscape in those with persistent lung disease, with evidence of cell death and tissue repair linked to ongoing activation of cytotoxic T cells. </span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></p>
Data from: Human impacts on mammals in and around a protected area before, during, and after COVID‐19 lockdowns
<p>The dual-mandate for many protected areas (PAs) to simultaneously promote recreation and conserve biodiversity may be hampered by negative effects of recreation on wildlife. However, reports of these effects are not consistent, presenting a knowledge gap that hinders evidence-based decision-making. We used camera traps to monitor human activity and terrestrial mammals in Golden Ears Provincial Park and the adjacent Malcolm Knapp Research Forest near Vancouver, Canada, with the objective of discerning relative effects of various forms of recreation on cougars (Puma concolor), black bears (Ursus americanus), black-tailed deer (Odocoileus hemionus), snowshoe hares (Lepus americanus), coyotes (Canis latrans), and bobcats (Lynx rufus). Additionally, public closures of the study area associated with the COVD-19 pandemic offered an unprecedented period of human-exclusion through which to explore these effects. Using Bayesian generalized mixed-effects models, we detected negative effects of hikers (mean posterior estimate = -0.58, 95% credible interval (CI) -1.09 to -0.12) on weekly bobcat habitat use and negative effects of motorized vehicles (estimate = -0.28, 95% CI -0.61 to -0.05) on weekly black bear habitat use. We also found increased cougar detection rates in the PA during the COVID-19 closure (estimate = 0.007, 95% CI 0.005 to 0.009), but decreased cougar detection rates (estimate = -0.006, 95% CI -0.009 to -0.003) and increased black-tailed deer detection rates (estimate = 0.014, 95% CI 0.002 to 0.026) upon reopening of the PA. Our results emphasize that effects of human activity on wildlife habitat use and movement may be species- and/or activity-dependent, and that camera traps can be an invaluable tool for monitoring both wildlife and human activity, collecting data even when public access is barred. Further, we encourage PA managers seeking to promote both biodiversity conservation and recreation to assess trade-offs between these two goals in their PAs.</p>

Competition between predicting mathematical models and laboratory results for covid 19 after vaccination in Iran
<p>All of us like to find a way to end Covid 19. Specially, economy confronts with many problems. In attached JPG, i bring two predictions for covid 19 pandemic in Iran. Mathematical model predicts that after a fall in figure we will have a peak. However, right now, most of people in Iran used of vaccines. In addition, government forced on all to get vaccine. Even, students with 12 to 18 years old get vaccine. It has been heard that soonly, kids with ages between 3-12 years old will receive vaccine. As a man or woman, all of us like that this program will response and vaccines work. However, predictions of math show reverse result. Although, maybe, we should enter the factor of vaccine in mathematical model. It is good opportunity for scientists to examine response of covid 19 to program of vaccine for all. Even if we have a peak, however its height be smaller, we can say that vaccines act. Hope for ending Covid 19 in all countries.</p>
Catastrophic Public Awakening in PRC upon Countless non-COVID-19 Deaths
<p>With the PRC regime mandate of quarantine trying to justify its individually targetable mass surveillance system, the causal deaths tolled for the measurements in the stead of the COVID-19 itself. Three children were locked alone at home on November 25 EST+8, 2022 for the quarantine measurements, and a fire killed them all the same night. People gathered on the streets and on social media people shared the details of multiple perspectives and experiences. Gunshots were fired reminding the population of the 1989 Tiananmen Square Massacre. Overnight Chinese cyber police have been deleting information on a mass scale, and the data consist of some collection saved by the researcher's acquaintance.</p>
Highly cited tropical medicine articles in the early COVID 19 pandemic. Original Excel data on citation and subjects
<p><strong>ORIGINAL DATA SET FOR STUDY OF PUBLICATION AND CITATION TRENDS, TROPICAL MEDICINE, EARLY COVID 19 PANDEMIC. Background: </strong>An adequate response to health needs includes the identification of research patterns about the large number of people living in the tropics and subjected to tropical diseases. Studies have shown that research does not always match the real needs of those populations, and that citation reflects mostly the amount of money behind particular publications. Here we test the hypothesis that research from richer institutions is published in better-indexed journals, and thus has greater citation rates.</p> <p><strong>Methods:</strong> The data in this study was extracted from the Science Citation Index Expanded database; the 2020 journal Impact Factor (<em>IF</em><sub>2020</sub>) was updated to 30 June 2021. We considered places, subjects, institutions and journals.</p> <p><strong>Results:</strong> We identified 1 041 highly cited articles with 100 citations or more in the category of tropical medicine. About a decade is needed for an article to reach peak citation. Only two Covid-19 related were highly cited in the last three years. Most cited articles were published by the journals <em>Memorias Do Instituto Oswaldo Cruz</em> (Brazil), <em>Acta Tropica</em> (Switzerland), and <em>PLoS Neglected Tropical Diseases</em> (USA). The USA dominated five of the six publication indicators. International collaboration articles had more citations than single-country articles. The UK, South Africa, and Switzerland had high citation rates, as did the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine in the UK, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in the USA, and the WHO in Switzerland.</p> <p><strong>Conclusions:</strong> About ten years of accumulated citations are needed to get 100 citations or more as highly cited articles in the Web of Science category of tropical medicine. SOCIOECONOMIC, DEMOGRAPHIC AND ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS AND COVID - 19 VACCINATION: INTERACTIONS AFFECTING EFFECTIVENESS
<p>This study analyses the relation between people fully vaccinated and mortality to assess the effectiveness of this health policy to cope with COVID-19 pandemic between a sample of 150 countries. Statistical analyses show a positive correlation between share of people fully vaccinated and total COVID-19 mortality in early 2022 (r= 0.65, p-value <.01). These results suggest that COVID-19 vaccinations cannot be a sufficient policy response to eradicate the overall negative impact of the new infectious disease in society. Although high levels of vaccinations in some countries, many demographic (density of population), environmental (air pollution), technological (equipment of non-invasive ventilators), biological (new variants), socioeconomic (health expenditures) factors, etc., influence the diffusion and negative effects of COVID-19 pandemic society. This study can provide new knowledge to improve crisis management and the preparedness of countries to cope with or prevent future pandemic crisis and negative effects in socioeconomic systems.</p>
