Wild for Orchids Citizen Science Campaign Records 2020 - 2023
<p>This dataset represents the geographic distribution of wild orchids in the Maltese Islands, as recorded by the Wild For Orchids Citizen Science Initiative between January 2020 and December 2023. It includes data obtained through citizen science contributions and has undergone rigorous two-stage quality control for species identification and GPS accuracy. Species identification was carried out according to Mifsud (2018). The location data of each records is provided as a shapefile format projected in ETRS89-extended / LAEA Europe (EPSG:3035), and exact GPS location were transformed in 1 km square grid according to the <span>European Forum for Geography and Statistics (EFGS).<br></span></p> <p><span>Wild for Orchids is a Citizen Science Initiative designed and managed by Green House Malta.</span></p>

Ka, W and G-band radar observations of clouds and light precipitation during the EPCAPE campaign in March and April 2023
<p>The files contained in the data sets include Ka, W and G-band radar observations of clouds and light precipitation for several days from March 23 to April 27, 2023, during the EPCAPE campaign in La Jolla, CA, USA. <br>The YYYYMMDD_HHMMSS file naming convention corresponds to the starting measurement time of the data set in UTC.<br>The CloudCube_EPCAPE_Gband_Spectra.zip folder contains G-band radar Doppler spectra in the form of calibrated reflectivity as a function of Doppler velocity and range, where the noise has been masked out. The CloudCube_EPCAPE_Gband_Spectra_Noise.zip folder contains G-band radar Doppler spectra, including noise and SNR. The CloudCube_EPCAPE_Gband_Moments.zip folder contains G-band radar Doppler spectra moments, i.e. calibrated reflectivity, mean Doppler velocity and Doppler spectrum width. The CloudCube_EPCAPE_Multifrequency.zip folder includes Ka, W and G-band calibrated reflectivity and dual-frequency reflectivity ratios. <br>These data were obtained from CloudCube, a Ka, W and G-band atmospheric profiling radar, to demonstrate synergies between multifrequency retrievals.<br>For more details about the data processing and description, please refer to: Socuellamos, J. MASTER: Western Diversity Time Series Campaign, WDTS, Spring 2023
This dataset includes Level 1B (L1B) and Level 2 (L2) data products from the MODIS/ASTER Airborne Simulator (MASTER) instrument. The spectral data were collected as part of the Western Diversity Time Series (WDTS, formerly HyspIRI) airborne campaign during 12 flights aboard a NASA ER-2 aircraft over California and Nevada, U.S., from 2023-03-31 to 2023-05-02. The WDTS campaign will observe California's ecosystems and provide critical information on natural disasters such as volcanoes, wildfires, and drought. MASTER products can identify vegetation type and health and provide a benchmark for the state of the ecosystems against which future changes can be assessed. Data products include L1B georeferenced multispectral imagery of calibrated radiance in 50 bands covering wavelengths of 0.460 to 12.879 micrometers at approximately 50-meter spatial resolution. Derived L2 data products are emissivity in five bands in thermal infrared range (8.58 to 12.13 micrometers) and land surface temperature. The L1B file format is HDF-4, and L2 products are provided in ENVI and KMZ formats. In addition, the dataset includes the flight path, spectral band information, instrument configuration, ancillary notes, and summary information for each flight, and browse images derived from each L1B data file.
