FIGURE 4. Maximum likelihood phylogeny of Clytia based on 3192 bp of aligned 18S, calmodulin, 16S and COI genes using a GTR+Γ+I model of DNA substitution (-ln likelihood: 11207.76084). Asterisks indicate C. gracilis-like specimens. Numbers represent the results of bootstrap pseudoreplicates: 1000 replicates using maximum parsimony (above branches) and 100 replicates with maximum likelihood (below branches), with a '<' representing bootstrap values less than 50. A monophyletic C. gracilis clade is rejected using the Shimodaira-Hasegawa test (p=0.010).
