Time series of electricity output for large grid connected photovoltaic installations in Chile

<p>These data sets accompany the paper &quot;Simulation of multi-annual time series of solar photovoltaic power: is the ERA5-land reanalysis the next big step?&quot;. They include capacity factors (values 0 to 1) in hourly temporal resolution of 103 large PV installations in Chile derived from official sources as well as simulated capacity factors using PV_LIB with ERA5-land and MERRA-2 reanalysis data. The data covers the period 2014-2018 and simulations were performed assuming either a &quot;fixed&quot; system with orientation towards north and inclination equal to the latitude (i.e. optimal inclination) or a horizontal single axis &ldquo;tracking&rdquo; system with backtracking. Furthermore, accuracy indicators (Pearson&rsquo;s correlation, mean bias error and root mean square error) are provided, comparing the simulated time series with capacity factors derived from official sources. Capacity factors were calculated for the 103 installations and both alternative configurations (&ldquo;fixed&rdquo; and &ldquo;tracking&rdquo;) but only a subset of 23 installations has reference data of sufficient quality to allow for a validation (for a more detailed description, see the paper). Indicators were also calculated for all installations and configurations but should be only compared for installations inside a particular configuration: there are 14 systems classified as &ldquo;tracking&rdquo; and 9 as &ldquo;fixed&rdquo;. Intimes Sprechen im Spanischen Chiles - Korpus

<p>Der vorliegende Datensatz enth&auml;lt ein Sprachdatenkorpus &sbquo;intimen Sprechens&lsquo; aus dem Spanischen Chiles, das im Rahmen des Dissertationsvorhabens der Autorin mit dem Titel &bdquo;&sbquo;Intimes Sprechen&lsquo; als sprachliches Register &ndash; Eine Neukonzeption des z&auml;rtlichen Sprechens, untersucht an einem Korpus aus dem chilenischen Spanisch&lsquo; vom 14.01.2016 bis zum 24.04.2016 erhoben wurde. Das Korpus enth&auml;lt insgesamt 6298 &Auml;u&szlig;erungen von 617 Personen. Die Dissertationsschrift wurde an der Christian-Albrechts-Universit&auml;t zu Kiel unter der Betreuung von Prof. Dr. Elmar Eggert und Prof. Dr. Bettina Kluge erstellt, am 12.03.2020 eingereicht und am 19.06.2020 erfolgreich verteidigt. Eine Verlagspublikation erfolgte 2022 unter dem Titel &quot;Intimit&auml;t in der Sprache. Eine Neukonzeption des z&auml;rtlichen Sprechens am Beispiel des chilenischen Spanisch&quot; bei De Gruyter.</p> <p>F&uuml;r die Erstellung des Korpus wurden internetbasierte Discourse Completion Tasks (DCTs) genutzt, bei denen den TeilnehmerInnen verschiedene Fotos pr&auml;sentiert wurden und sie daraufhin gebeten wurden, niederzuschreiben, was sie in der betreffenden Situation sagen w&uuml;rden. Die DCTs wurden um Fragen zu soziodemographischen Merkmalen der TeilnehmerInnen und offene Fragen nach typischen Merkmalen &sbquo;intimen Sprechens&lsquo; (einerseits nonverbaler, andererseits verbaler Art) erg&auml;nzt. F&uuml;r die Online-Implementierung des Erhebungsinstruments wurde die kostenlose Software SoSci Survey (soscisurvey.de) genutzt. Da das Erhebungsinstrument urheberrechtlich gesch&uuml;tzte Fotos enth&auml;lt, ist es lediglich auf Anfrage bei der Autorin einzusehen. Ausf&uuml;hrliche Beschreibungen zur Erhebungsmethode, zum Aufbau des Erhebungsinstruments, zur Durchf&uuml;hrung der Erhebung sowie zu R&uuml;cklauf und Repr&auml;sentativit&auml;t der Daten finden sich in der erw&auml;hnten Dissertationsschrift.</p>

Dataset HC-Pairs Chile, Colombia and Spain

<p>This dataset contains data from the Health Care Providers&rsquo; Pain and Impairment Relationship Scale (HC-PAIRS) in health professionals and university students from Chile, Colombia, and Spain. Data from Colombia and Chile was collected between August, 2021, and April, 2022. Data for Spain was collected between September and November 2011.</p> <p>Demographic variables and responses to items on the Health Care Providers&rsquo; Pain and Impairment Relationship Scale (HC-PAIRS) are included. Although the language of the file is originally Spanish, the variable names and value labels have been translated into English for easier understanding.<br>Data and codebooks are provided in csv format, following the FAIR principles.<br>Three files are provided:<br>1. HC-Pairs data, with the data related to sample characteristics and the answers to the questionnaire items in the three countries.<br>2. Database codebook of variables, with information of the labels of the variables of the HC-Pairs data file.<br>3. Variables values codebook, with the labels of the values of the variables in the HC-Pairs data file.</p>

<p>Shapefile of the glacier inventory of the Upper Huasco catchment, Chile, that was generated for the following research article:</p> <p>Nicholson, L. I., Mar&iacute;n, J., Lopez, D., Rabatel, A., Bown, F. and Rivera, A.: Glacier inventory of the upper Huasco valley, Norte Chico, Chile: glacier characteristics, glacier change and comparison with central Chile, Ann. Glaciol., 50(53), 111&ndash;118, doi:10.3189/172756410790595787, 2010.</p> <p>Glaciers were mapped on the basis of ASTER imagery from 2004, and classifed for the study as clean ice glaciers (1), debris covered glaciers (2) and rock glaciers (3). Additionally, classification following the GLIMS gudeilines (https://www.glims.org/.../GLIMS_Glacier-Classification-Manual_V1_2005-02-10.pdf ) was applied where possible to glacier features on the basis of additional ASTER imagery from 2002 and 2003, and older air photographs.</p>

InSAR Time Series Analysis (2018-2021) for Volcanic Monitoring in Northern Chile

<p>This dataset is for the paper &quot;First onset of unrest captured at Socompa: A Recent Geodetic Survey at Central Andean volcanoes in Northern Chile&quot; which is published in GRL: <a href="https://doi.org/10.1029/2022GL102480">https://doi.org/10.1029/2022GL102480</a>.</p> <p><strong>InSAR Data:</strong></p> <p>The folder&nbsp;of InSAR_149A.rar stores the InSAR time series analysis dataset on ascending track 149.</p> <ol> <li>The &#39;Imagedate&#39; folder stores the empty *.rslc files to indicate the date of each SLCs.</li> <li>Data_Asc.mat stores the main InSAR time series data, which includes the UTC time of the acquisition (for accurate time calculation), the length of perpendicular baselines (unit is meter), the number of days counting from the first epoch, the unwrapped time series data (ifg), the unwrapped time series data with GACOS correction (ifg_aps), the look angles (la, unit is rad), and lat&amp;lon.</li> <li>parms.mat stores the parameters used during the data processing by StaMPS.</li> <li>semi_fit.mat stores the results of the semi-variogram fitting of each interferogram on time series. It provides two versions for the original dataset (semi) and the GACOS-corrected dataset (semi_aps). This file is mainly used to weight the data during the time series fitting.</li> <li>runTSA.m, the main function to run the InSAR time series fitting. See more details in the Code part.</li> </ol> <p>The folder of&nbsp;InSAR_156D.rar stores the same content as the&nbsp;InSAR_149A.rar but for descending track 156.</p> <p><strong>Code:</strong></p> <p>This folder contains the codes of the InSAR time series fitting for this dataset, and the GBIS software.</p> <ol> <li>TSA_findref.m, this function is used to search the reference point of the InSAR data.</li> <li>TSA_EQ_fit.m, is the main function to perform InSAR time series fitting.</li> <li>rb_pixel_fit.m, is the robust way to fit the linear model.</li> <li>TSA_EQ_pixel.m, is the function used to plot the results.</li> </ol> <p>To perform the InSAR time series fitting, you need to put these four functions under your Matlab path, and then run the runTSA.m function in the data folder.</p> <p>The GBIS folder stores the updated version of the GBIS software, which allows you to perform the pCDM, CDM, and pECM. The core functions of these models are provided by Dr. Mehdi Nikkhoo, and you could find them here:&nbsp;https://www.volcanodeformation.com/software</p> <p><strong>GBIS_Modelling_Results:</strong></p> <p>This folder stores the data of InSAR and GPS joint inversion for Socompa Uplift.</p> <ol> <li>The folder Socompa stores the modelling results using the models of Okada(D), pECM(E), Mogi(M), pCDM(N), and Yang(Y), respectively.&nbsp;</li> <li>GPS_data.txt stores the cumulative displacements and the uncertainties of the SOCM station in three directions.</li> <li>Socompa.inp is the configuration file for GBIS running.</li> <li>Vol_asc.mat and Vol_asc_ds.mat stores the original and the downsampled ascending data, while Vol_dsc.mat and Vol_dsc_ds.mat store those of descending.</li> </ol> <p>Many thanks for using our dataset and please let me know if you have any further questions!</p>

Implementation of GR hydrological models in 95 near-natural catchments across Chile

<p>All the files included here contain the data and calibration results produced for the paper &quot;Exploring parameter (dis)agreement due to calibration metric selection in conceptual rainfall-runoff models&quot; accepted for publication in Hydrological Sciences Journal (HSJ). This database summarizes the calibrated parameter sets for the GR4J, GR5J and GR6J conceptual rainfall-runoff models, all coupled to the CemaNeige snow module (i.e., GRXJ + CemaNeige = GRXJCN), using 12 objective functions. The models are configured for 95 near-natural&nbsp;catchments located in Continental Chile. Each basin is identified by a unique code registered in the National Water Bank (BNA by its acronym in Spanish) by the Chilean Water Bureau (DGA; https://dga.mop.gob.cl/). Meteorological forcings and hypsometric curves for each basin studied are also included.</p> <p>The information is organized as follows:</p> <p>- &quot;01 Forcings&quot; &nbsp; : It includes a &quot;Comma-separated value&quot; file (&quot;.csv&quot;) per basin (according to the notation &quot;BNA code.csv&quot;) which contains daily time series of precipitation (P; mm/d), temperature (&deg;C) and potential evapotranspiration (E; mm/d) for the period 1980-01-01 to 2017-12-31. The daily runoff observations (Q; mm/d) and snow water equivalent (SWE; mm) from Cort&eacute;s et al. (2017) are included.
