<p>Database with information of biological specimen records of the taxa tunicata, class ascideacea, from the southern gulf of Mexico, México. The data corresponds to the information published in the manuscript "Checklist of ascidians (Chordata: Tunicata) from south of the Gulf of Mexico".</p> <p>The current dataset includes information from 134 specimens preseved in 4% formol at the Colección de Ascidias del Golfo de México, Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico, Facultad de Ciencias, UMDI-Sisal, Yucatan, Mexico.</p>
