Reports about the tools for converting IFC to CityGML and CityGML to IFC delivered within the GeoBIM benchmark 2019 - Task 4

Answers delivered through the online forms, about the tests performed by participants within the Task 4 - 'conversions from IFC to CityGML and from CityGML to IFC' - of the GeoBIM benchmark 2019, funded as a Scientific Initiative 2019 by the International Society of Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ISPRS) and co-funded by the European association for Spatial Data Research (EuroSDR).

Full details and additional resources about the project are available in the project website: https://3d.bk.tudelft.nl/projects/geobim-benchmark/

The dataset results from the collaboration of the authors with all the participants to the benchmark, listed at https://3d.bk.tudelft.nl/projects/geobim-benchmark/participants.html

It is composed by 2 files:

- the answers to the delivered online forms, organised in excel sheet;

- the same answers organised in a more human-readable PDF, with reliable images and links.

CityGML Virtual Knowledge Graph

This resource contains files for building a Virtual Knowledge Graph from CityGML data. It also includes data from the Bavaria area for demoing purposes.

CityGML files exported within the GeoBIM benchmark 2019 - Task 3

Result of the export test performed within the Task 3 - support for CityGML of the GeoBIM benchmark 2019, funded as a Scientific Initiative 2019 by the International Society of Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ISPRS) and co-funded by the European association for Spatial Data Research (EuroSDR).

GeoBIM benchmark CityGML data - Rotterdam Lod12 and BuildingsLoD3

These are the three CityGML datasets provided for the ISPRS EuroSDR GeoBIM benchmark initiative.

They represent:

- some districts in Rotterdam, in LoD1 and 2;

- random buildings in LoD3, generated with the open source random3Dcity software.

Their full description can be found at

https://3d.bk.tudelft.nl/projects/geobim-benchmark/rotterdamlod12.html

https://3d.bk.tudelft.nl/projects/geobim-benchmark/buildingslod3.html

respectively.

The initiative was funded by ISPRS Scientific initiative program and co-funded by the European association for Spatial Data Research (EuroSDR)

Converted IFC and CityGML files exported within the GeoBIM benchmark 2019 - Task 4

Result of the conversion tests performed within the Task 4 - Conversion from IFC to CityGML and from CityGML to IFC of the GeoBIM benchmark 2019, funded as a Scientific Initiative 2019 by the International Society of Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ISPRS) and co-funded by the European association for Spatial Data Research (EuroSDR).

Only two examples out of six are loaded for the amsterdam.ifc dataset, due to issues in managing such heavy files.

Buildings of Lyon, France in 2009, 2012 and 2015 in CityGML

This dataset is a numerical representation of the buildings of city of Lyon in 2009, in 2012 and in 2015 in the CityGML format.

This dataset has been computed from this original data of the "Grand Lyon" (Data Grand Lyon website). The license about this original data can be found here.

This original data has been preprocessed to correct some integrity issues, to remove textures coordinates and generic attributes. Detailed notes on how to compute this dataset can be found here (This dataset corresponds to DS-CityGML).
