Sphinx (Cleopatra's Needle, London)
One of the Sphinx at Cleopatra's Needle by the Thames in London ('I need a monopod' edition). Processed from 166 Photos taken with a Nikon D5300 and Kit lens in Agisoft Photoscan Professional. One of the Sphinxes at Chleopatra's Needle in London by the Thames. My main scanning focus was the porphyritic granite base beneath which bears the scars of bombing damage from WW1. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cleopatra%27s_Needle,_London **Scan of the base:** A good example of why purchasing a monopod or pole attachment for your camera might be a good idea if you wish to completely scan things that are taller than you when elevated vantage points are absent. WW1 Bomb Damage (Cleopatra's Needle, London)
Exported with an 8192x8192 texture to capture as much detail as possible (best viewed on a comptuter screen). Processed from 398 phots taken with a Nikon D5300 w/ kit lens in Agisoft Photoscan Pro. Damage caused during a German bombing raid in World War 1 to the base of one of the Sphinxes that flank Chleopatra's Needle, by the Thames in London. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cleopatra%27s_Needle,_London The main focus fo the scan was the shrapnel damage around the porphyritic granite base on which the Sphinx sits.
