Co-Creation Database
<p>The Co-Creation Database groups scientific references on co-creation.</p> <p>It mainly contains the title, abstract, DOI, and authors.</p> <p>Two versions are available:</p> <ul> <li><strong>Version 1.5</strong> includes 13,501 references, from PubMed, ProQuest and CINAHL, from January 1970 to November 2021. Available in RIS (Research Information Systems) format and CSV (CSV UTF-8). <em>Quality metrics: 9.38% false negatives; 20.35% false positives.</em></li> <li><strong>Version 2.0 </strong>is an update from a classification model trained with version 1.5. It includes references from Scopus and Web of Science from January 1970 to March 2023, with an update of the previous databases used for version 1.5 from December 2021 to March 2023. Two CSV (CSV UTF-8) files are available. The "Co-Creation Database v2.0 - full.csv" combines the last version, 1.5 and the update, with 52,821 references. The file "Co-Creation Database v2.0 - adding.csv" has only the update, with 39,219 references. <em>Quality metrics: 13.98% false negatives; 36.43% false positives.</em></li> </ul> <p><strong>To perform your search:</strong> we recommend you extend your search to the title and abstract since some data are initially missing. The RIS file can be uploaded to any references manager (e.g., Zotero, Mendeley, etc.), where you will have the feature to search. Database of Digital Technology for Co-creation (2DTC)
<p>This CSV file contains a list of 50 technologies commonly used in the co-creation process. The database is organised around a taxonomy for digital technology used in co-creation, developed by the Health CASCADE consortium. It can be used to select the most adapted digital technology for specific co-creation processes based on detailed functional and non-functional requirements.</p> <p>Futur development will allow taxonomy development, increase the number of classified technologies, and update the available ones.</p>

Co-occurrence of Methods in Co-Creation: A Sankey Diagram
<p><strong>The Co-Creation Methods Sankey Diagram. </strong>This diagram was created in an online open-access tool, RAWGraphs 2.0 (DensityDesign Research Lab). This diagram provides a visual representation of the interrelationships among methods occurring together in the titles and/or abstracts of the sourced literature (n=2,590 citations). These citations are derived from a Systematic Method Overview, which encompasses empirical studies, protocols, exploratory studies, and case studies employing co-creation sourced from the Health CASCADE Co-Creation Database version 1.5. Documenting And Assessing Open Innovation: Co-creation Of An Open Data Model For Surgical Training (Additional materials, tables 2 & 3)
<p>Challenge competitions have recently resurged for promoting open innovation in areas where markets fail to provide incentives, such as the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Challenges call for the general public to contribute novel solutions to a well-defined problem, in exchange for prizes, credentials and the promise of further development of selected solutions. The aim of this paper is to report on the development of an open and collaborative data model to document and evaluate innovations in the context of a challenge competition, while also being compatible with the work of other open source communities to validate and improve them. By reusing open documentation standards and embedding them into a semantic collaborative platform, the model aimed to be flexible enough to respond to the evaluation needs of the project organisers and self-assessment for participants. We expect our experience provides insights on the potential of semantic, collaborative platforms and standards for increasing the impact of innovations towards the SDGs.</p> <p>The developer team defined the goal and scope of the ontology in collaboration with the GSTC organisers. This was done by agreeing on scenarios where the ontology will be used and establishing competency questions that the ontology has to be able to respond to. Table 2 describes the four motivating scenarios, including actors involved, requirements, sequence of actions and main problems identified. Table 3 details the competency questions for each scenario.</p>
Co-Creation verzweigter Szenarien mit H5P
<p>Der Vortrag "Co-Creation von Branching Scenarios mit H5P" ist Teil der Reihe "Serviceeinheiten rund um das Thema digitales Unterrichten" und adressiert wirtschaftsberufliche Lehrkräfte. Der Vortrag beinhaltet neben einer theoretischen Einordnung des Branching Scenarios einen ersten Überblick bezüglich der Gestaltungsmöglichkeiten, welche die Open-Source-Software H5P (angehenden) Lehrkräften für die Entwicklung von Branching Szenarien bietet (Contentformen, Oberfläche). Weiterhin werden aktuelle Forschungsbefunde zur Lernförderlichkeit von H5P-Inhalten skizziert und erste praxisbezogene Einblicke in die Konstruktion eines Branching Scenarios aufgezeigt (Editormodus in H5P). Der Vortrag schließt mit einem Ausblick auf co-creative Entwicklungsprozesse und eine Einbindung in den Projektkontext WÖRLD, in welchen der Vortrag integriert ist.</p>
Ideas and feedback collected during the INVITE Co-creation Workshop
<p>In the framework of the INVITE Co-Creation Workshop, a diverse group of OI stakeholders engaged in a series of co-creative brainstorming and ideation sessions to co-define demand-driven designs and features for INVITE’s pilots and OI2 Lab. During the workshop six tables were set up to discuss six themes, each of which addressed key aspects of the pilots, services and tools to be deployed through the OI2 Lab. The discussions followed a semi-structured approach and were guided by six key questions, unique to each theme. With that in mind, this dataset comprises of both qualitative and quantitative data, as derived from the participants’ responses to each of these six questions per theme along with any additional ideas. </p>

Entangled Ecologies. Interactive Documentary between Living Archive, Responsible Witnessing and Relational Co-Creation
<p>The videoessay is also accessible: <a href="https://trametrami.avinus.org/publikationen/3-2023">https://trametrami.avinus.org/publikationen/3-2023</a></p> <p>Recent re-conceptualizations of participation as well as theories of digital transformation culture have shifted the notion of the archive seeing not so much as a static, institutional body but rather as a dynamic, living epistemic environments. Building on these approaches, this presentation discusses emerging phenomena in interactive documentary focusing on ecological emergency – seeing this crisis itself as a complex ecology of issues where images and conceptualization past, present and future meet. Taking paradigmatic projects addressing the issue of climate change – <em>The Shore Line</em> (2017) and <em>Climate Witness Project </em>(2019) – I suggest tentative answers to the question in which way i-docs can contribute to tackle complex change. Are there images from the past which help us to better cope with the present and to envision a more sustainable future? How can one raise awareness of immanent ecological risks when menace is almost invisible, unprecedented and un-imaginable? Is there a way to negotiate multifaceted entanglements through documentaries which are neither paralyzing ecodystopian narratives nor naive ecotopian success-stories? The hypothesis underlying my approach is that one possible solution resides in documentaries which are built on principles of pluri-perspectivity and polyphony to transcend dualisms and to build bridges leading from history to the forthcoming. Corona Haikus - Poetics of compassion. Visual poetry and co-creation in virtual opening spaces as self-care and community-care
<p>The COVID-19 lockdowns and the maxim of social distancing have not only been accompanied by an upheaval of all so far assumed certainties and our complex socio-cultural infrastructures – they have also brought along deep permutation in our personal, intimate lives. As closeness and connectivity are essential in times of cataclysm, and as the preservation and negotiation of the effects of crises and its consequences is one element in deal with stress and anxieties, the impulse to document and reflect one's experiences, to reset one's focus and to regain agency through (co-)creative practices and mutual care have gained momentum. This might be one reason why during the lockdown many virtual communities emerged, e.g. social media initiatives with a documentary impetus, as well as collaborative web-projects. The motives for engaging in such networks are various – and often, one and the same project serves different needs at the same time for different user-participants. Apart from the impulse to document unprecedented times as a coping strategy to face personal uncertainties, and apart from the impetus to share one's experiences with others and thus to create a feeling of connectivity, these projects are also means for mediated self-care: they are spaces to self-reflexively cope with a slow-downed and often also isolated lifestyle and to make social distancing more bearable. This contribution examines the potentials of co-creative documentary poetry/poetic documentary in times of crises, taking the participatory project Corona Haikus as an example – a project, which launched during the first lockdown in March 2020 as an artistic experiment repurposing the facebook platform and which later metamorphosed into a curated website. I will investigate which community needs have existed during the crisis, and how the collaborative project Corona Haikus answered them. The focus of the presentation lies on co-creation as a form of self- and community-care, on the visual haiku as a poetic and therapeutic form and meditative practice of creation, as well as the use of networked media, to create 'open spaces' (sensu Zimmermann & De Michiel 2018), to foster communicative connectivity and to inspire creativity – thus making social media networks social in the proper sense of the word. Conceptualizations of co-creation, participation, mediated mindfulness and the healing potential of creativity – especially visual poetry – will be supplemented by reflections on community building, agency in co-creative projects and media ethics.
