Tsunami Simulation: TsunAWI Testcase "Coquimbo 2015", Setups and Example Results
<p>This dataset contains three setups with example results for TsunAWI simulations for the Chilean coast with a focus on<br> the Coquimbo region. They are used in the LEXIS project, WP6 "Earthquake and Tsunami Pilot".</p> <p><strong>coquimbo_150m.tgz </strong>- coarse setup with down to 150m resolution in Coquimbo and other areas of interest along the Chilean coast</p> <p><strong>coquimbo_20m.tgz </strong>- fine<strong> </strong>setup with down to 20m resolution in Coquimbo, also high resolution along other areas of interest along the Chilean coast</p> <p><strong>coquimbo_20m_new.tgz </strong>- setup tuned for the LEXIS workflow aiming at a real time estimate of the inundation on the City of Coquimbo, thus a focus with 20m resolution only in Coquimbo region.</p> <p> </p> <p>Each dataset includes a README explaining the included files. <p>Esta representación visual está inspirada en fotografías y testimonios que ilustran la memoria colectiva de los y las habitantes de Coquimbo que vivieron el terremoto y tsunami del 16 de septiembre de 2015 que afectó el humedal El Culebrón y los barrios aledaños: Avda. Baquedano (Barrio Baquedano, Población Victoria), Puerto de Coquimbo y Peñuelas.</p><p>Este desastre socio-natural impactó las costas desde Chañaral hasta Concón, generando daños tanto a nivel personal, material y emocional. La memoria evoca recuerdos de tristeza, destrucción, angustia, olvido y desolación, que se mezclan con acciones de unión, reconstrucción, apoyo, amor, y voluntad. Diversidad de experiencias y de emociones se manifiestan en el presente a partir del acontecimiento, el cual marcó un antes y un después para personas y barrios de la zona costera de Coquimbo. Y aunque en ocasiones, el recordar sea incómodo y doloroso, el ser conscientes de no olvidar y perpetuar testimonios y vivencias, nos permite aprender a reconocer, planificar, preparar y a convivir de mejor manera con nuestro entorno.</p>

Fur color of Paiguano mouse opossum is clearer than the T. e. elegans specimen from Las Docas. Eye-rings are conspicuous in T. e. elegans. In T. e. coquimbensis, eye-rings are absent or more narrow than in T. e. elegans, and the ears appear slightly larger and more approximated.
