FIGURE 13 in The first species of Cotithene Voss (Coleoptera: Curculionidae: Curculioninae) from Amazonian Brazil, with notes on its role as a pollinator of Evodianthus funifer (Poit.) Lindm. (Cyclanthaceae)

FIGURE 13. Phylogeny of the species of Cotithene and select outgroup taxa. A single most parsimonious cladogram with one unresolved internal trichotomy (length = 42; Consistency Index = 90; Retention Index = 94). Characters 4, 13 and 15 were mapped under accelerated transformation (ACCTRAN) optimization, all other characters have unambiguous optimizations. Black rectangles represent single, nonhomoplasious character state transformations. White rectangles represent multiple, homoplasious character state transformations. The small numbers above and below each rectangle correspond to character numbers and states, respectively. The larger numbers displayed at the left end of each branch represent relative Bremer support values. B Maximum likelihood tree; C Bayesian majority-rule consensus tree. In both B and C branch lengths scaled to expected number of state changes, in Figure 13B branches with support less than 50 were collapsed.
