FIGURE 4 in New species of Camptophora and Cyphellophora from China, and first report of sexual morphs for these genera
FIGURE 4. Camptophora schimae (IFRD 9050, holotype). A Sooty mold-like appearance on leaf surface. B Appearance of colony and ascomata on the host surface. C Vertical section of ascoma. D, E Asci. F,G Ascospores H Germinating ascopore. Scale bars: C = 40μm, D–H= 20 μm.
FIGURE 1 in New species of Camptophora and Cyphellophora from China, and first report of sexual morphs for these genera
FIGURE 1. RAxML tree generated by the phylogenetic analysis of combined data sets of ITS and LSU rDNA sequences. Bootstrap support values ≥ 50% and Bayesian values ≥ 0.80 are shown above their branch. Phaeomoniella prunicola was used as the outgroup taxon. The names of isolates with newly obtained sequences from this study are in red.

FIGURE 2 in New species of Camptophora and Cyphellophora from China, and first report of sexual morphs for these genera
FIGURE 2. Cyphellophora jingdongensi (IFRD 9049, holotype). A Sooty mold-like appearance on leaf surface. B Appearance of colony and ascomata on the host surface. C, D Vertical section of ascoma. E, F Asci (note: lack of hamathecium and pseudoparaphyses) G–J Ascospores I Germinating ascopore. Scale bars: C, D = 40μm, E–I= 20 μm.
FIGURE 2 in Two new rock-inhabiting species of Cyphellophora from karst habitats in China
FIGURE 2. Cyphellophora botryosa (CGMCC 3.19239). a,b. Colony on MEA after 12 weeks at 25 °C; c. Hyphal; d–i. Globose, thickwalled, and germinating chlamydospores. Scale bars =10 μm.
FIGURE 1 in Two new rock-inhabiting species of Cyphellophora from karst habitats in China
FIGURE 1. Phylogenetic tree of Cyphellophora based on the combined data set of ITS and nucLSU with Phaeomoniella prunicola as outgroup. Clades with Bayesian probabilities>0.95 and bootstrap support values>60% are indicated at the nodes (ML/BI). For the Bayesian inference, the best-fit model (GTR+I+G with ingamma-distributed rate) for ITS and nucLSU were selected in MrModeltest 2.3. The phylogenetic tree obtained from Bayesian analyses was using MrBayes 3.0b4. Thickened branches represent posterior probabilities (>0.95) from BI. The scale bar indicates 0.1 substitutions per site. The two new species from this study are marked in bold. The type specimens are indicated with an T.
FIGURE 3 in Two new rock-inhabiting species of Cyphellophora from karst habitats in China
FIGURE 3. Cyphellophora guizhouensis (CGMCC 3.19234). a,b. Colony on MEA after 4 weeks at 25 °C; c. Spirally twisted hypha; d–h. Conidiogenous cells and conidia (arrows point to conidiogenous cells); i. Conidia and budding cell. Scale bars = 10 μm.
