Figure 6. (a1), (a2), (a3), (a4), (a5), (a6), (a7) and (a8) watermarked image is degraded respectively through JPEG2000 compression, JPEG compression, median filtering, adding Salt&Pepper noise, rotating, center cropping, surrounding cropping and scaling.
This paper has described a scheme for digital watermarking of still images based on discrete
wavelet transform. In the proposed method, the embedded logo watermark can be extracted without
access to the original image. It has been confirmed that the proposed watermarking method is able
to extract the embedded logo watermark from the watermarked images that have degraded through
compression, filtering, cropping and scaling. Although this algorithm is not robust against rotation,
it can completely extract the watermark from watermarked images that lose about 35% of their
areas by cropping attack.

Figure 1. (a) Original watermark (b) extracted watermarks after compression(c) merged watermark-Discrete Wavelet Transform Method: A New Optimized Robust Digital Image Watermarking Scheme

Therefore, each bit of the logo watermark is stored in one coefficient of a sub-block to keep
the capacity of watermarking fixed.
When a region of the watermarked image is destroyed; the whole watermark can be
extracted using other regions of the watermarked image by merging extracted watermarks. Figure 1
shows result of merging logo watermarks that were extracted from a compressed (with JPEG2000
algorithm) watermarked image.

A set of distortions is applied to the watermarked image and the watermark is extracted from
the distorted image. We used bit correct rate (BCR) to evaluate our proposed algorithm and it is
calculated from the following equation [6].

Figure 2. LL2 sub-band is divided into sub-block-Discrete Wavelet Transform Method: A New Optimized Robust Digital Image Watermarking Scheme

In the following experiments, two gray-level images with size of 512 by 512, “Baby” and
“Hookah” are the test images. The binary image “IAU” with size of 32 by 32 is used in our
simulations as a watermark. Figure 3 shows the watermark. In the experiments Haar wavelet filter
was used for discrete wavelet transform. The level of wavelet decomposition (n) and the number of
sub-blocks (K) were also assumed to be 2 and 16 respectively.
The proposed watermarking algorithm is evaluated from the point view of embedded
watermark transparency and robustness; the result of each is shown in next two sections.

Dataset of the survey on the digital transformation of business processes at universities in Germany

In spring 2022, a broad survey was conducted among all 423 German universities on the status and the future of the digitalisation of administrative business processes.

During the research survey, participants gave or rejected their consent for the publication of their contribution as open data. Respecting the roughly 30% of participants who declined, we published all remaining data here on Zenodo. The raw version of the dataset contains filtered, but pseudonymised data. The second version of the dataset is modified by the quality control process as described in section 3.3. of the corresponding Data Paper.

The published data also includes the catalogue of questions indicating the respective category of time and competency pattern in which the question was used. This catalogue also contains the match with the PDF printout of the web-based questionnaire and the corresponding variables (V1-V1073) of the data records.

Finally, the general introduction as well as the proposed letter to the target groups are included in the data files for reference.

The Transformative Storytelling Technique for Developing Guided Digital Narratives in Mental Health Support. Pilot study

In a society where advances and innovations occur on a daily basis, the development of digital mental health tools continues at almost uncontrollable rates. Following trends in the utilization of storytelling across fields and reflecting on the lack of working models and frameworks for the application of storytelling for mental health support, the Transformative Storytelling Technique (TST) is designed and developed as a part of this work. This technique represents a new category for creating hybrid content to guide the experience of audiences, starting with the case of informal caregivers. In this pilot study, a TST caregiver story is assessed pre-post in an interventional study, investigating the potential role of mental health audio stories in supporting informal caregiver wellbeing. The anonymized raw dataset is available.

Digital Transformation and Its Relationship to the Job Performance of Employees at a Private University in Peru

Private universities in Peru still need to implement digital transformation models to enhance the job performance of faculty and staff, achieving consistent improvement in the performance levels of university teachers by deploying technological and didactic tools for students. Therefore, the study aims to determine the relationship between digital transformation and the job performance of employees at a Private University. The research approach was quantitative, employing a non-experimental, longitudinal correlational design. The technique used was a survey, applied to a sample of 104 employees (school heads, faculty, and a director) from the university on a national level from a total population of 144. The findings highlight that organizational motivation to achieve high performance significantly affects job performance. This motivation creates pressure to achieve the desired outcomes. According to over 90% of the surveyed faculty, these demands foster a sense of urgency, though sometimes exceeding the capabilities of the employee. Therefore, creating an innovative culture across all hierarchical levels and identifying key technologies that add value to the learning flow can meet the needs of an increasingly demanding society.

Keywords: digital transformation, job performance, virtual education, digital tools, educational quality.

Quantifying Progress: Metrics and Indicators for Measuring Digital Transformation Maturity in Organizations

As organizations increasingly embark on digital transformation journeys, the need for effective metrics and indicators to measure progress and maturity becomes paramount. This paper investigates the development and application of metrics for quantifying digital transformation maturity in organizations. Through an extensive review of literature and examination of case studies, the paper identifies key dimensions and stages of digital maturity. It proposes a framework encompassing both quantitative and qualitative metrics that can be used to assess an organization's digital transformation journey. The paper explores challenges associated with defining meaningful metrics and offers insights into adapting measurement frameworks to diverse organizational contexts. By addressing this critical gap in the literature, the paper aims to provide practitioners, researchers, and decision-makers with a valuable resource for evaluating and benchmarking digital transformation progress, fostering a more nuanced understanding of the multifaceted nature of organizational digital maturity.
