"Shuten Doji" Simple Diorama - Japanese Folktale
First of all, the architecture here is not historically correct. Based on my research, Shuten Doji is set on the Engi period. Due to difficulties finding proper references and time constraints, most of the buildings are from Edo period. Edo period is chosen because they are many references available in the internet and it still has that "old" feel. The diorama has 3 main parts, the village, the temple and the castle. The three parts represents the life of Shuten Doji based on the folktale. The arrangement of the parts on the mountain is done with purpose. Source: Objaverse 1.0 / Sketchfab

This is my final modeling project for SGD 214 modeling II, In this i have four Retro "8-bit" computers from the 80's on a desk from a tech youtuber i like called "the 8-bit guy". the computers i have selected for this are the commodore VIC-20, the Commodore Plus/4, the Commodore 128D and the Lazer 128. the monitor that i have set up is a Commodore 1702 color monitor. I have set these items in a simplistic room with orange carpet and beige colored walls. now for some reason sketchfab deosn't want to use my color map for the walls and floor so you will get a shiny red as contrast. Diorama El Dorado
I thought making some El Dorado fantasy based models would be fun. I tried to go for more of a Monochromatic color scheme since nearly everything is meant to be made out of gold. So I thought some differnt shades of gold would be nice. Also, the Temple is life size. Each doorway I made 7ft high and stairways are 6 feet wide. I purposely go a little higher on the average real life measurements, to leave more room for other ideas. That said, I will have to add more to this in the future.
