Dolerite
# SHCMS:G.20520.001 **Dolerite** Piece of course-grained intrusive Dolerite from a Tertiary age dyke structure at Grinshill quarry in Shropshire. This specimen has been cut and sectioned to produce microscope thin sections. Age: approx 52 million years. Length 7.8cm Width 6.8cm Depth 3.9cm. Imaged using a canon 5DS R and Stackshot 3x with turntable to provide 70 images which were then processed using agisoft photoscan at high levels.
