<p>In scientific research, the ability to effectively retrieve relevant documents based on complex, multifaceted queries is critical. Existing evaluation datasets for this task are limited, primarily due to the high costs and effort required to annotate resources that effectively represent complex queries. To address this, we propose a novel task, <strong>S</strong>cientific <strong>DO</strong>cument <strong>R</strong>etrieval using <strong>M</strong>ulti-level <strong>A</strong>spect-based qu<strong>E</strong>ries (DORIS-MAE), which is designed to handle the complex nature of user queries in scientific research.</p> <p>Documentations for the DORIS-MAE dataset is publicly available at <a href="https://github.com/Real-Doris-Mae/Doris-Mae-Dataset">https://github.com/Real-Doris-Mae/Doris-Mae-Dataset</a>. This upload contains both DORIS-MAE dataset version 1 and ada-002 vector embeddings for all queries and related abstracts (used in candidate pool creation). DORIS-MAE dataset version 1 is comprised of four main sub-datasets, each serving distinct purposes.</p> <p>The <strong>Query</strong> dataset contains 100 human-crafted complex queries spanning across five categories: ML, NLP, CV, AI, and Composite. Each category has 20 associated queries. Queries are broken down into aspects (ranging from 3 to 9 per query) and sub-aspects (from 0 to 6 per aspect, with 0 signifying no further breakdown required). For each query, a corresponding candidate pool of relevant paper abstracts, ranging from 99 to 138, is provided.</p> <p>The <strong>Corpus</strong> dataset is composed of 363,133 abstracts from computer science papers, published between 2011-2021, and sourced from arXiv. Each entry includes title, original abstract, URL, primary and secondary categories, as well as citation information retrieved from Semantic Scholar. A masked version of each abstract is also provided, facilitating the automated creation of queries.</p> <p>The <strong>Annotation</strong> dataset includes generated annotations for all 165,144 question pairs, each comprising an aspect/sub-aspect and a corresponding paper abstract from the query's candidate pool. It includes the original text generated by ChatGPT (version chatgpt-3.5-turbo-0301) explaining its decision-making process, along with a three-level relevance score (e.g., 0,1,2) representing ChatGPT's final decision.</p> <p>Finally, the <strong>Test Set</strong> dataset contains human annotations for a random selection of 250 question pairs used in hypothesis testing. It includes each of the three human annotators' final decisions, recorded as a three-level relevance score (e.g., 0,1,2).</p> <p>The file "ada_embedding_for_DORIS-MAE_v1.pickle" contains text embeddings for the DORIS-MAE dataset, generated by OpenAI's ada-002 model. <p>Dataset with images and annotations (semantic masks for YOLO and other architectures) of sheep, wolves, persons and depth images in order to carry out experiments of robots used for herding sheep and detect potential predators as wolves. It is divided into two different URLs since it is greater than 50GB. This dataset contains images of persons, wolves, sheep and the depth images that can be used to simulated environments and they have the depth estimated from the images using Depth Anything. Multiple Doris kerguelenensis (Nudibranchia) species span the Antarctic polar front
<p>Despite strong historical biogeographical links between benthic faunal assemblages of the Magellan region of South America and the Antarctic Peninsula, very few studies have documented contemporary movement and gene flow in or out of the Southern Ocean, especially across the Antarctic Polar Front (APF). In fact, oceanographic barriers such as the APF and Antarctica's long geologic isolation have substantially separated the continents and facilitated the evolution of endemic marine taxa found within the Antarctic region. The Southern Ocean benthic sea slug complex, Doris 'kerguelenensis', are a group of direct-developing, simultaneous hermaphrodites that lack a dispersive larval stage. To date, there are 59 highly divergent species known within this complex. Here we provide evidence to show intraspecific genetic connectivity occurs across the Antarctic Polar Front for multiple species within the Doris 'kerguelenensis' nudibranch species complex. We addressed questions of genetic connectivity by examining the phylogeographic structure of the three best-sampled Doris 'kerguelenensis' species and another three trans-Antarctic Polar Front species using the protein coding mtDNA gene, Cytochrome Oxidase I. We also highlight alternative refugia uses among species with the same life history traits (i.e., benthic, direct developers) and for some species, extremely large distributions are established (e.g., circumpolarity). By improving our sampling of these nudibranchs, we gain better insight into the population structure and connectivity of the Antarctic region. This work also demonstrates how difficult it is to make generalisations across Antarctic marine species, even among ecologically-similar, closely-related species.</p>

SWOT Level 1 Onboard Tracking Data from Doppler Orbitography and Radiopositioning Integrated by Satellite (DORIS)
Tracking data measurements from the Doppler Orbitography and Radiopositioning Integrated by Satellite (DORIS) payload receiver onboard SWOT. The tracking data are generated using signals from DORIS ground beacons and are used to perform precise orbit determination of the SWOT spacecraft. They are also used to compute the precise orbit ephemeris(POE), and the medium-accuracy orbit ephemeris (MOE) used for SWOT data processing. Distributed as one file per day in RINEX file format, available with latency of < 2 days.

Doppler Orbitography and Radiopositioning Integrated by Satellite (DORIS) was developed by the Centre National d'Etudes Spatiales (CNES) with cooperation from other French government agencies. The system was developed to provide precise orbit determination and high accuracy location of ground beacons for point positioning. DORIS is a dual-frequency Doppler system that has been included as an experiment on various space missions such as TOPEX/Poseidon, SPOT-2, -3, -4, and -5, Envisat, and Jason satellites. Unlike many other navigation systems, DORIS is based on an uplink device. The receivers are on board the satellite with the transmitters are on the ground. This creates a centralized system in which the complete set of observations is downloaded by the satellite to the ground center, from where they are distributed after editing and processing. An accurate measurement is made of the Doppler shift on radiofrequency signals emitted by the ground beacons and received on the spacecraft.

Ground-Based Doppler Orbitography and Radiopositioning Integrated by Satellite (DORIS) IDS Earth Orientation Parameters (EOP) Time Series Product from NASA CDDIS
Doppler Orbitography and Radiopositioning Integrated by Satellite (DORIS) Earth Orientation Parameters Time Series Product from the NASA Crustal Dynamics Data Information System (CDDIS). DORIS is a dual-frequency Doppler system consisting of a receiver flying aboard a satellite and a globally distributed network of ground beacons. The DORIS receiver on-board the orbiting satellite tracks the dual-frequency radio signals transmitted by the network of ground beacons and generates the DORIS data. A measurement is made of either the Doppler shift or absolute phase as the satellite’s orbit moves over the ground-based beacon. DORIS data records contain a time-tagged range-rate measurement with associated ancillary information. DORIS observations from a global network can be utilized for a variety of products. Analysis Centers (ACs) of the International DORIS Service (IDS) retrieve DORIS data on a regular basis to compute various DORIS products from data generated by the DORIS beacons supporting the IDS network, including the time series of Earth orientation parameters (EOPs). The IDS Analysis Center Coordinator combines these solutions to produce an official IDS EOP product. The EOP time series are available in text format.
