FIGURE 2 in Phylogeny and biogeography of the Enhydris clade (Serpentes: Homalopsidae)
FIGURE 2. Geographic distribution of the species of the Enhydris clade in South and Southeast Asia. Homalopsid snakes are generally found in lowland habitats at elevations of less than 200 m. These maps are based on a combination of verified published localities (Murphy 2007) and adjacent contiguous lowland (<200 m) topography. Note that due to the size of the maps some higher elevations in southern Myanmar, the Thai-Malay Peninsula, Sumatra, Java, and Vietnam appear shaded on the Enhydris enhydris map even though these mountains are not inhabited by E. enhydris.

FIGURE 3 in Phylogeny and biogeography of the Enhydris clade (Serpentes: Homalopsidae)
FIGURE 3. Relationships among species in the Enhydris clade from four different phylogenetic analyses of two datasets. Each analysis type recovered different phylogenetic relationships but for each analysis there were no differences in the phylogenetic relationships generated by the two datasets (primary data set: ATPase ~ 850 bp; ND4 ~ 700 bp plus adjacent 3' tRNAs ~ 180 bp; cyt b ~1120 bp, PRLR ~580 bp and secondary data set: 12S rRNA - 865bp, 16S rRNA – 450bp, and c-mos - 585 bp). A. Maximum likelihood (ML) phylogeny with bootstrap support values. B. Bayesian phylogeny with posterior probabilities (PPs). C. Maximum parsimony (MP) phylogeny with bootstrap support values. D. Maximum parsimony excluding third codon positions of mitochondrial coding genes (MPexcl) with bootstrap support values. In each tree bootstrap support values or Bayesian PPs are presented first for the primary dataset followed by the values from the secondary dataset. Where bootstrap support or Bayesian PPs were the same for both data sets a single value is provided.
