Wind Value Literature Selection for End-of-Life Valuation Excel File WP 5.1
<p>Authors from Wind Value, the Re-Wind Network and IEA Wind Task 45 carried out research on methods of processing end-of-life wind turbine blades. This included a structured literature review which selected the literature in the Excel file. Part of this work helps to estimate the value of an end-of-life wind farm contributing to Work Package 5.1 of the Wind Value project. The paper was pubished as Deeney et al. (2025) <a href="https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S1364032125000917?via%3Dihub">End-of-life wind turbine blades and paths to a circular economy</a>, <em>Renewable and Sustainable Energy Reviews. </em></p>

Research Excellence Framework (REF) 2021 enhanced submissions dataset
<p>An enhanced version of the public <a href="https://results2021.ref.ac.uk/">REF 2021 submissions dataset</a>, produced by Jisc, which contains metadata for all outputs submitted to the exercise. Metadata has been cleaned and new fields have been added to increase the potential for analytical purposes, e.g. by identifying where the publisher exists as an imprint of a larger parent company.</p> <p>For its own analytical purposes, Jisc focused on long-form output types (books and parts of books), but cleaning measures were performed on the entire dataset, uploaded here.</p>

Excel mapping tool for 2023 avian influenza data reporting
<p>Data collection is an important task of the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) and a fundamental component of risk assessment (Articles 22 and 23 of Regulation (EC) No 178/2002). EFSA receives a large volume of data from Member States (MSs) that is used in support of its risk assessment mission.</p> <p>Council Directive 2005/94/EC and Commission Decision 2010/367/EU lay down the guidelines for monitoring and reporting avian influenza surveillance data on poultry and wild birds by European Union (EU) MSs. EFSA has been assigned the task of collating, validating, analysing, and summarising in an annual report the results from the avian influenza surveillance programmes in poultry and wild birds. For the reporting of data, EFSA provides a Data Collection Framework that allows data providers to submit data in eXtensible Markup Language (XML) format through a web interface or a web service. Here, a data model describing the format, and the content requested when submitting data through the DCF, is provided.</p> <p>The data model supports the reporting of laboratory testing results for avian influenza in both wild birds, and poultry. The use of this reporting standard ensures that reported results are comparable between reporting countries. Data reported in this format will be used to generate epidemiological updates on the avian influenza surveillance testing carry out in Europe, and to provide scientific advice to the European Commission.</p>

Excel mapping tools for 2021 AMR data reporting
<p>The main objective of the mapping tools is to provide a simple and useable platform for Member States and other reporting countries to map their country-specific standard terminology to that used by EFSA and to enable the production of an XML file for the submission of antimicrobial resistance data via the Data Collection Framework (DCF).</p> <p>The tools can be used to report antimicrobial resistance data within the framework of Directive 2003/99/EC and Decision 2020/1729/EU.</p> <p>The catalogues and the specific hierarchy of each data model (AMR and ESBL) are already inserted into each of the specific mapping tool. Specific Excel mapping tools corresponding to each of the two data models are available.</p> <p>Dynamic or manual version of the tool can be chosen for each data models.</p>
On-farm demonstration datasets in excel
<p>These files comprise 'Part A' of the questionnaire utilised to populate the inventory of on-farm demonstrations across Europe. The 'farms' file comprises the farmers who responded to the survey; the 'organisations' file the agricultural industry organisations which host or organise demonstrations (e.g. research institutions, agricultural advisory services, farming organisations). Part A identifies the topics and audiences of the demonstrations, as well as whether they are located. Early Medieval Latin Manuscripts Transmitting the Text of the Etymologiae of Isidore of Seville: an excel datasheet
<p>This excel file contains structured and formalized data about all surviving and identified early medieval Western manuscripts containing the text of the <em>Etymologiae</em> of Isidore of Seville, fully or partially. It records information about the place of origin, provenance, preservation, the date of origin, material properties, script, content, the state of preservation, presence of notable features, online representation, and bibliography of 507 manuscripts (v2.3.4: 496 manuscripts; v 2.3.2: 492 manuscripts; v2.1: 484 manuscripts; v2.0: 478 manuscripts) dated from the seventh to the first half of the eleventh centuries. Highly cited tropical medicine articles in the early COVID 19 pandemic. Original Excel data on citation and subjects
<p><strong>ORIGINAL DATA SET FOR STUDY OF PUBLICATION AND CITATION TRENDS, TROPICAL MEDICINE, EARLY COVID 19 PANDEMIC. Background: </strong>An adequate response to health needs includes the identification of research patterns about the large number of people living in the tropics and subjected to tropical diseases. Studies have shown that research does not always match the real needs of those populations, and that citation reflects mostly the amount of money behind particular publications. Here we test the hypothesis that research from richer institutions is published in better-indexed journals, and thus has greater citation rates.</p> <p><strong>Methods:</strong> The data in this study was extracted from the Science Citation Index Expanded database; the 2020 journal Impact Factor (<em>IF</em><sub>2020</sub>) was updated to 30 June 2021. We considered places, subjects, institutions and journals.</p> <p><strong>Results:</strong> We identified 1 041 highly cited articles with 100 citations or more in the category of tropical medicine. About a decade is needed for an article to reach peak citation. Only two Covid-19 related were highly cited in the last three years. Most cited articles were published by the journals <em>Memorias Do Instituto Oswaldo Cruz</em> (Brazil), <em>Acta Tropica</em> (Switzerland), and <em>PLoS Neglected Tropical Diseases</em> (USA). The USA dominated five of the six publication indicators. International collaboration articles had more citations than single-country articles. The UK, South Africa, and Switzerland had high citation rates, as did the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine in the UK, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in the USA, and the WHO in Switzerland.</p> <p><strong>Conclusions:</strong> About ten years of accumulated citations are needed to get 100 citations or more as highly cited articles in the Web of Science category of tropical medicine. Outre cette découverte, ce piège a permis de mettre en évidence d'autres espèces rares telles Clytus tropicus (Panzer, 1795) (Cerambycidae) et Camptorhinus simplex Seidlitz, 1867 (Curculionidae). Le second piège, situé à près de 5 km du premier, était placé sur un hêtre mort sur pied à 869 m d'altitude. Cet arbre était notamment colonisé par Rosalia alpina (Linnaeus, 1758) (Cerambycidae). Ce second piège a permis de capturer en outre plusieurs spécimens de Stictoleptura scutellata (Fabricius, 1781) (Cerambycidae) et un de Mesosa curculionoides (Linnaeus, 1760) (Cerambycidae), deux espèces rares. À noter toutefois que de nombreux chênes étaient présents à proximité de ce hêtre.
