A multi-wavelength study of Galactic H II regions with extended emission (Appendix - Figures)
<p><strong>Regarding figures showing radio continuum and moment-0 maps: </strong>uGMRT radio continuum and GLOSTAR-D moment-0 maps of individual H II regions overlaid with the radio contours from the GLOSTAR-D continuum maps in black. The contours have started at the 3sigma-level flux and have increased in steps of sqrt(3) (G20.99), 2 (G22.76), sqrt(3) (G24.47), sqrt(3) (G25.69), 2 (G27.49), sqrt(3) (G28.30), and sqrt(3) (G28.81), respectively. The coordinates reported in the THOR radio continuum catalog are shown using the green/black '+' signs, while the locations of the UC cores (from the GLOSTAR-B and CORNISH surveys) are shown using the blue '*' signs. The respective beam sizes are shown at the bottom-left/bottom-right corners of the figures.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Regarding figures showing peak velocities from GLOSTAR-D RRLs: </strong>RRL peak velocity distribution maps from the GLOSTAR-D data overlaid with the GLOSTAR-D radio continuum contours in black. Starting from the 3sigma-level, the radio contours increase in the multiplicative steps of sqrt(3) (G20.99), 2 (G22.76), sqrt(3) (G24.47), sqrt(3) (G25.69), 2 (G27.49), sqrt(3) (G28.30), and sqrt(3) (G28.81), respectively. Sharpless H II Regions
This database table is derived from data contained in the Sharpless Catalogue of H II regions. The original catalog was published in 1959 in the Astrophysical Journal Supplement Series (number 41, pages 257- 280). The original card deck was in the 026 punch and this was converted to a 029 deck. Many of the quantities in this version of the catalog were not in the published catalog. The epochs of the precessed equatorial coordinates were determined empirically from the data as given on the computer cards. This is a service provided by NASA HEASARC .
