GIS55 GIS Coverages Defining the Konza HQ Irrigation System (1982-present)
These data show the components of the irrigation system near Konza Prairie HQ. Record types 1, 2, 3 and 4 demarcate the locations of the study plots heads (GIS550), transect lines (GIS551), irrigation lines (GIS552), and irrigation line joints (GIS553). Record types 4 and 5 describe the location of the storage piles (GIS554) and the irrigation reservoir (GIS555). This data may be used in conjunction with the Irrigation Transect Studies (WATXX) data. These data are available to download as zipped shapefiles (.zip), compressed Google Earth KML layers (.kmz), and associated EML metadata (.xml).

NEON HQ Soil Archive (Megapit) (repackaging of occurrences published by the NEON Biorepository Data Portal)
This collection contains soil samples collected from the megapit at each terrestrial site (NEON sample class: mgp_perarchivesample). During the construction of all 47 terrestrial field sites, "Megapit" soils were collected from multiple horizons at a single soil pit that was up to 2m deep. These samples serve as a reference of soil physical and chemical conditions at the time the NEON site was constructed. The Megapit Archive is curated at the NEON program headquarters in Boulder, CO. Megapit soil samples are available upon request (https://www.neonscience.org/samples/soil-archive).

Hrad Pernštejn (Pernstejn Castle) - HQ+
Pernštejn Castle (Czech: hrad Pernštejn) is a castle on a rock above the village of Nedvědice and the rivers Svratka and Nedvědička, some 40 kilometres (25 mi) northwest of Brno, in the South Moravian Region, Czech Republic. Pernštejn came to be known as the marble castle because of the marble-like stone used to frame the doors and windows. It was founded by the Lords of Medlov probably between 1270–1285. The family branch seated at the castle and adopted the then fashionable name Pernštejn, which is the Czech version probably derived of the German name, Bärenstein – the "Bear Rock". Its history is closely connected to the Lords of Pernštejn (Pernštejnové) and their descendants. It has kept its intact appearance in the Gothic and Renaissance form as it was finished in the first half of the 16th century by the Pernštejns, then the richest and most powerful lordly family of the Czech kingdom.
