Kh. v. 597).</p> </li> </ol> <p>Beginning: استبح الله الذی لا یحوم حول الوهیّته الواصفون...و بعد یقول مولانا و استادنا الفاضل المحقّق و الکامل المدقّق علامة الزمان استاد علماء عراق و خراسان بدر الملة و الدین علاء الاسلام و المسلمین محمّد بن اسعد الیمنی محتدا و التستری تعریفًا متّع الله المسلمین بطول حیوته لا ریب لمن رزقت (!) الفطرة السلیمة فی شرف علم الکلام لشرف متعلّقه و قوّة براهینه و شدّة الحاجة الیه هذا و ان مختصرنا هذا منطو علی لباب مطالب المهمّة (!) و نقاوة انظار اهل الصنعة لا یعرفه الا من یتبع کتب القوم الخ.</p> <p>It comprises an introduction (مقدّمة) and three chapters (مطلب): I. (fol. 3) فی الالهی; II. (fol. 18) فی الممکنات; III. (fol. 25) probably فی السمعیات.</p> <p>This MS. is not quite complete, but terminates abruptly in the paragraph فی الامامة. Marginal notes.</p> <ol> <li> <p>Foll. 32-40. The beginning of a Commentary on the preceding work, by the author himself.</p> </li> </ol> <p>Begins: یقول مولانا و استادنا علامة الزمان بحر الحقائق کاشف الدقائق بدر الملة و الدین...اللهم وفق الفقیر الی عنایتک الخ.</p> <p>The author says subsequently:</p> <p>و لما کانت الکتب المصنّفة فی هذا الفنّ¹ للافاضل من الاوائل و الاواخر وافرة طویلة الاذیال منتشرة الاطراف و الارجاء قلّما یصل الیها غیر المتموّلین من المنتمین الی اهل العلم²....دعانی ذلک الی ان انتزع من کتب الاولین و زبر الآخرین من المخالفین و الموافقین امّهات اسرارهم الخ.</p> <p>The text and the commentary are distinguished by قال and اقول, but only the first word of the former is given in each case. This MS. is imperfect at the end, and does not extend beyond the introduction (مقدّمة) of the original work.</p> <p>Carefully written in a small hand, but often without the diacritical points. Of the eighth century. Rubrics omitted throughout.
