<p>A great number of leaves in this copy, especially in the beginning and towards the end, are so firmly glued together, that it is impossible to separate them without tearing them to pieces. The contents, so far as they can be ascertained, are as follows:</p>
<p>A.<em>Centre-columns</em>:</p>
<p>1.The collector’s preface, on fol. 2<sup>a</sup>.</p>
<p>2.Seven risâlas, as it seems; the first, the beginning of which can be quoted, is the third of the usual copies, on fol. 48<sup>b</sup> (رسالۀ سيوم در جواب صاحب ديوان); the <em>fourth</em>, در عقل و عشق, begins (without a heading) on fol. 52<sup>a</sup>; the <em>fifth</em> ( رسالۀ پنجم در نصيحة الملوك), on fol. 56<sup>b</sup>; the <em>sixth</em>, containing the <em>second</em> <em>story</em> only of the three, viz. the نصيحت انكيانو (just as No. 1121 in this Cat.) begins on fol. 77<sup>a</sup> with the simple heading شيخ ميفرمايد ; the <em>seventh</em> is the <em>third</em> story (رسالۀ ملك شمس الدين) of the usual sixth risâlah, beginning, on fol. 81<sup>a</sup>: در زمان حكومت ملك الخ.</p>

<p>An index on the fly-leaf. There are wanting in this copy the <em>first</em> story of the <em>sixth</em> risâlah, the Arabic ḳaṣîdas, the Khabithât, Muḳaṭṭa’ât, and Muḍḥikât. No date.</p>
