(Oxford: India Office, 1903): volume 1,</strong></a>&nbsp;<strong>number 259 here with notations and hyperlinks].</strong></li> </ul> <p>705</p> <p>Ṭabaḳ&acirc;t-i-Sh&acirc;hjah&acirc;n&icirc; (طبقات شاهجهانى ).</p> <p>A large collection of succinct biographies of all the great Sayyids, Shaikhs, Saints, Ḥak&icirc;ms, &lsquo;Ulam&acirc;s, and poets, who flourished from the beginning of T&icirc;m&ucirc;r&rsquo;s reign down to the reign of the emperor Sh&acirc;hjah&acirc;n, compiled about A.H. 1046 (A.D. 1636, 1637) by Muḥammad Ṣ&acirc;diḳ, and dedicated to Sh&acirc;hjah&acirc;n (A.H. 1037-1068=A.D. 1627-1658), comp. Rieu iii. p. 1009; Elliot, History of India, vii. p. 133.
