(Oxford: India Office, 1903): volume 1,</strong></a>&nbsp;<strong>number 2778 here with notations and hyperlinks].</strong></li> </ul> <p>1237</p> <p>D&icirc;w&acirc;n-i-Salm&acirc;n (ديوان سلمان).</p> <p>The fullest copy in the India Office Collection of the lyrical poems of Khw&acirc;jah Jam&acirc;l-ald&icirc;n Muḥammad Salm&acirc;n of S&acirc;wa, the son of Khw&acirc;jah &lsquo;Al&acirc;-ald&icirc;n Muḥammad, see Haft Iḳl&icirc;m, No. 1008 (col. 452 in this Cat.). He was born about A.H. 690 (A.D. 1291), enjoyed the favour of the &Icirc;lk&acirc;n&icirc; rulers, Am&icirc;r Shaikh Ḥasan Buzurg (A.H. 736-757=A.D. 1335-1356) and his son, Shaikh Uwais (A.H. 757-776=A.D. 1356-1374), and died A.H. 778 or 779 (A.D. 1376 or 1377); see Erdmann in Zeitschrift der D.M.G. xv. pp. 758-772; Bodleian Cat., Nos. 807-810; Rieu ii. p. 624 sq. H.
