Thirty-five lines in a page.</p> <p>A large Commentary ( by قوله ) on the <em>Kâfiyah</em>, by RAḌÎ AL-DÎN (<em>alias</em> Najm al-dîn) Muḥammad b. al-Ḥasan Astarâbâdî, a Shî’ite, who completed it in Shawwâl, 686. Cf.<a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kashf_al-Zunun"> Ḥ.Kh</a>. v.7. The author says subsequently: و بعد فقد طلب الىّ من اعتنى بصلاح حاله ... تعليقَ ما يجرى مجرى الشرح على مقدّمة ابن الحاجب ( فى النحو <sup>1</sup> ) عند قرآتها علىّ فانتدبت له ;</p> <p>and further on : فان جآء مرضياً فببركات الجناب المقدّس الغَرَوىّ <sup>2</sup> صلوات الله على مشرّفه لاتفاقه فيه الخ.</p> <p>The first gloss begins: قوله الكلمة لفظ وضع لمعنى مفرد اعلم ان الكلم جنس الكلمة كتمر و تمرة الخ ;</p> <p>and the work concludes (fol. 217): هذا آخر شرح المقدمة و الحمد لله .. وقد تم تمامه و اختتم اختتامه فى الحضرة الغرويّة على مشرفها صلوات رب الغرّة و سلامُه فى شوال سنة ست و ثمانين و ستمائة .It is followed by an appendix , which begins : و لنذكر احكام هآء السكت و ان كان المصنف ذكر بعضها فى التصريف الخ.</p> <p>A good copy. Written in a small but clear hand.</p> <p>The last fol. is wanting. Slightly injured by damp.</p> <p>The title-page contains the note of the owner, Ḥâjjî Muḥammad b.
