Nine lines in a page.</p> <p>Another <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kufic">K&ucirc;fic</a> fragment, containing <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Surah">S&ucirc;rah</a><strong> <a href="https://quran.com/1">1</a></strong>, 6 نعمت- <strong><a href="https://quran.com/2">2</a></strong> , 160 کحبّ; large, long-shaped characters; vowel points red, green, or yellow, in a few cases also blue. Sometimes, as if to indicate various readings, small lines are added on د, in green or red, instead of diacritical points. Verses divided by gold ornaments; every tenth marked by larger ones, which contain the number.</p> <p>The title of S&ucirc;. 2 is on a gold ground.</p> <p>One leaf is missing between foll. 7 and 8, and two between foll. 32 and 33.</p> <p>The last leaf, which is half destroyed, belongs to another fragment (in five lines). Both this and the first page have been entirely gilt. In a leather binding, covered with silk. Some one has noted that the MS. was written by <a href="http://www.iranicaonline.org/articles/ali-b-abi-taleb">ʿAl&icirc;</a> (fol. 46).</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
