Literature survey of seagrass disturbance-recovery studies up to May 2022
To provide context for the seagrass recovery experiment (SRE) a literature synthesis was conducted on prior studies of seagrass disturbance and recovery. The synthesis provided evidence that 1) less than half (47%) of all seagrass species have been included, 2) were primarily on monospecific meadows of Zostera, 3) where experimental, mostly done on small spatial scales (median = 0.25 m2), and 4) that there is a positive, non-linear relationship between recovery time and disturbance area. Most meadows had some, if not full recovery during the study period suggesting that seagrass meadows are stable across a broad set of conditions.
Dataset from the study "Analysis of the accuracy of scientific literature references provided by ChatGPT"

This dataset corresponds to the study carried out to analyse 10 bibliographic references of 10 Spanish authors in the field of Information Sciences requested to the ChatGPT chatbot.

The file "Bibliographic_references_ analysis" contains the 10 references returned by ChatGPT for each of the 10 authors (a total of 100 references), together with the variables analysed to check their authenticity.

The "Keywords_analysis" file contains the normalisation carried out on the words considered to be key words extracted from the titles of the works, according to which a word cloud showing the frequency of occurrence could be drawn up.

A Study on Organizational IT Security in Mobile Software Ecosystems Literature

Information security is a key topic for most organizations. With the digital revolution, smartphones have become popular not only for personal use but also within organizations where many employees use them for business purposes. As smartphones are increasingly present in organizations, it is necessary to understand what recommendations the literature provides for the safe use of such devices, helping organizations to protect themselves from threats. ISO 27000 is a well-known standard for information security in a business context. It provides a set of controls that must be observed to ensure more secure organizational information. Therefore, the goal of this study is to identify which controls presented in ISO 27000, more specifically ISO 27001, are present in the Mobile Software Ecosystem (MSECO) literature. To do so, we conducted a systematic mapping review supplemented by a snowballing process to identify studies in the field of MSECO that have addressed any subject that is present in ISO 27001. We found that 34 out of the 114 ISO 27001 controls are covered by the MSECO literature. Also, some of the ISO sections (e.g., Asset Management) have not yet been explored in the MSECO literature. Our results can inspire future and further studies on the topic of MSECO information security.

Ethical Perspectives in AI: A Two-folded Exploratory Study From Literature and Active Development Projects - Supplementary Material

This is the Supplementary Material provided for the work accepted on HICSS 2021.

Title of work: Ethical Perspectives in AI: A Two-folded Exploratory Study From Literature and Active Development Projects.

This dataset depicts 589 GitHub README files explored in our article. We devised each repository into 4 categories. AI Applications (78), reference lists (486), Explainable AI tool (6), Ethical AI tool (15). Moreoveer, 4 repositories could not be found, and 181 of them had a Programming Language. In addition, we classified them according to our judgement of Interesting (82) or Great (33), regarding the objectives of our work. 75 repositories were not related to AI Ethics, and 7 of them mentioned COVID-19 in their repositories in some manner. Highlighted repositories in red pertain to categories 3 and 4, that is, tools for implementing AI Ethics, while those in yellow are marked as “Great”.

Explainable AI tool and Ethical AI tool were added to 21 occurrences of tools for implementing AI ethics publicly available in repositories. Furthermore, it is seen that many papers open-sourced their codes on GitHub (as in https://github.com/lopusz/awesome-interpretable-machine-learning), meaning that the academic field has also made good progress in implementing ethics in AI, hence, the combined energy of both sources fosters an enhanced debate and stimulates progress towards AI ethics in practice.
