Data for Solar Field Output Temperature Optimization Using a MILP Algorithm and a 0D Model in the Case of a Hybrid Concentrated Solar Thermal Power Plant for SHIP Applications

These data were generated for the Open-Acces Article :

Kamerling, S.; Vuillerme, V.; Rodat, S. Solar Field Output Temperature Optimization Using a MILP Algorithm and a 0D Model in the Case of a Hybrid Concentrated Solar Thermal Power Plant for SHIP Applications. Energies 2021, 14, 3731. https://doi.org/10.3390/en14133731

In these dataset, the data for the Case Study and the Sensitivity Analysis are available. Jupyter Notebooks for further process of these data are also available. The NoteBooks AnalyseHourlyValues, AnalyseDailyValues and AnalyseMonthlyValues allow for easy change of variable, whereas CaseStudyAnalysis is for one specific set of data. The AnalyseSets were created in order to analyse the influence of the optimization on the solar fraction of the different datasets.

Case studies of a multi-product slurry pipeline scheduling and storage management problem in the phosphate industry.

PlasBin-flow: A flow-based MILP algorithm for plasmid contigs binning

PlasBin-flow is a method for detecting plasmid contigs bins from the assembly graph for a given bacterial sample. The method is based on a Mixed-Integer Linear Programming (MILP) formulation.

The data shared consists of output files of PlasBin-flow as well as those of 5 other plasmid binning methods, namely, PlasBin, HyAsP, MOB-recon, plasmidSPAdes and gplas for 66 test samples. Details about each sample have been provided in the file samples.csv.

The output folder contains one folder per sample. Each sample folder contains the following files:

PlasBin-flow was executed using 7 different weight combinations for the objective function of the MILP.
For every weight combination \((a,b,c)\) , we have a file name plasbin_flow_a_b_c_bins.out.

PlasBin: plasbin_contig_chains.csv,

HyAsP: hyasp_plasmid_contigs.fasta,

MOB-recon: mob_recon_contig_report.txt,

plasmidSPAdes: plasmidspades_contigs.fasta,

gplas: gplas_bins.tab.

Dataset for A MILP approach for detailed operational scheduling of a supply chain in the phosphate industry

10 instances to evaluate a MILP approach for detailed operational scheduling of a supply chain in the phosphate industry.

FloripaSat MILPs

This dataset contains several instances of the Offline Nanosatellite Task Scheduling (ONTS) problem, based on the parameters of the FloripaSat-1 mission. Each instance (.json file) is paired with a (quasi-)optimal solution vector (_opt.npz file) and the 500 best solutions found (_sols.npz file).

In https://github.com/brunompacheco/sat-gnn you can find the code used to generate the instances, load them, and compute the results in the .npz files.

Data for MILP algorithm for control strategy optimisation of a hybrid solar thermal plant consisting of two different solar fields working for two processes at different temperatures, a three tanks storage and a boiler for SHIP applications

This repository contains the results of simulations exposed in the article MILP algorithm for control strategy optimisation of a hybrid solar thermal plant consisting of two different solar fields working for two processes at different temperatures, a three tanks storage and a boiler for SHIP applications.

Notebooks for easy plotting of the results are contained in this repository. The README.txt contains light explainations regarding how to use those notebooks.

This article is yet to be published at the time of writing.

SNDlib-MIPs: A new set of homogeneous MILP instances

We constructed 289 MILP instances based on the Survivable Network Design Library (SNDLib) http://sndlib.zib.de/home.action and the models presented within. Our models differ from the formulations provided in that SOS constraints are used in place of big-M constraints, a set of edge disjoint paths are used in place of all possible paths, pre-installed capacity is only available if links are included, and in the bidirectional case capacities are the sum of both capacities instead of the maximum. The models were constructed using SCIP 8.0.3, with the code available at https://github.com/Opt-Mucca/branching-via-cut-selection. Please see the attached PDF for a complete model description.
