Last interglacial (MIS 5e) sea-level proxies in southeastern South America

This dataset is a compilation of published last interglacial sea level indicators for the southeast coast of South America (including Uruguay, Argentina, and one site in southern Chile). We have documented 60 proxies, which includes 48 sea level index points, 11 marine limiting indicators and 1 terrestrial limiting indicator. All of these data have at least some chronological control, with radiocarbon, electron spin resonance, U/Th, amino acid racemization and OSL dating techniques. The vertical uncertainty values were assigned based on information given for measurements, and the type of deposit.

Simulated Arctic sea ice characteristics from MIS-11c and MIS-5e time slice simulations

Tarball containing netCDF files with single-variable fields from time-slice simulations during the MIS-11c and MIS-5e periods. Each field contains 100 years of monthly data (1200 months) and were used in creating the figures and analyses present in the corresponding paper that will be submitted in the coming weeks (4 Aug 2024 as of writing). Simulations were conducted with CESM v1.2.2 using only variable orbital and GHG parameters as documented in Crow et al. (2022; doi:10.5194/cp-18-775-2022). All fields except TREFHT (reference height or 2m surface air temperature) and MOC (Atlantic meridional overturning circulation) were produced by the CICE module within CESM and include: sea ice area fraction, sea ice thickness, and sea ice age. Metadata are contained within the headers of the netCDF files for further details.

Database of Last Interglacial (MIS 5e) Sea-level Indicators in Southeast Asia

This spreadsheet is a complete record of the Last Interglacial (MIS 5e) sea-level indicators in Southeast Asia. It has been exported from "The World Atlas of Last Interglacial Shorelines (WALIS) Database" (https://warmcoasts.eu/world-atlas.html). Version 1.1 incorporates minor changes post review process.

Last interglacial (MIS 5e) sea level proxies in the glaciated Northern Hemisphere

This dataset contains known preserved last interglacial (Marine Isotope Stage 5e - 130-115 ka) sea level proxies in glaciated regions of North America and Europe, including Greenland and Iceland. We have excluded deposits that show evidence of glaciotectonism. In total there are 88 sea level proxies in this dataset. The sea level proxies have been dated using electron spin resonance, U-series, amino acid racemization, luminescence and radiocarbon techniques. In many cases, fossil assemblages and pollen records that indicate warmer-than-present conditions provide support for a last interglacial assignment.
