Organic Matter, Geochemical, Visible Spectrocolorimetric Properties, Radiocesium Properties, and Grain Size of Potential Source Material, Target Sediment Core Layers and Laboratory Mixtures for Conducting Sediment Fingerprinting Approaches in the Mano Dam Reservoir (Hayama Lake) Catchment, Fukushima Prefecture, Japan
<p>The current dataset was compiled to study sediment fingerprintings practices, i.e tracer selection and contribution modelling. Organic matter, elemental geochemistry, visible difuse spectrocolorimetric properties, radiocesium properties, and grain size were analysed were analysed in potential source material that may supply sediment to coastal rivers, here the upper part of the Mano river, draining the main Fukushima radioactive pollution plume (Japan). Four potential soil source materials (<em>n</em> = 68) were considered: undecontaminated cropland (<em>n</em> = 24), as non-decontaminated soil before the application of local decontamination policies, remediated cropland (<em>n</em> = 10), as decontaminated soil after the application of local decontamination policies, forest soils (n = 24) and subsurface material originating from channel bank collapse or landslides (<em>n</em> = 10; referred to as subsoil). A sediment core was collected in the Mano Dam lake (Hayama lake) on the 6th June 2021 and was sectionned into 1-cm layers (<em>n</em> = 38). Laboratory mixtures (<em>n</em> = 27) were made to assess different contribution levels from the sources.</p> <p>The current dataset comprises four .csv files including data and metadata information and their respective descriptions of variables. The data set is composed of soil samples, sediment core layer and laboratory mixtures. Laboratory mixtures were prepared to provide a dataset to calibrate/validate un-mixing models implemented to address this research question and analysed in the same conditions and using the same equipment as the source/target material.</p> <p>Recommended encoding format: <strong>latin1</strong></p>

<p>En el siguiente <em>dataset</em> se presentan los datos sobre <strong>coches en venta en el territorio español </strong>obtenidos fruto del desarrollo de la Práctica 1 de la asignatura 'Tipología y Ciclo de Vida de los Datos' del Máster en Ciencia de Datos de la Universitat Oberta de Catalunya, con fin meramente académico.</p> <p>Los datos han sido recolectados utilizando técnicas de <em>web scraping </em>sobre el sitio web www.milanuncios.com.</p> <p>Los atributos del fichero .CSV se definen a continuación:</p> <ul> <li><strong>ad_id</strong>: Identificador del anuncio del coche.</li> <li><strong>ad_type</strong>: Tipo de anuncio. <p><strong>Descripción</strong>: Proporciona un conjunto de datos ficticios sobre vehículos de segunda mano en venta, basado en información obtenida mediante scraping de la web coches.km77.com en noviembre de 2024. Para cumplir con las normas de propiedad intelectual y respetar los derechos de la fuente original, los datos han sido modificados sustancialmente. Los valores de los atributos no corresponden con los datos reales de la web. Este dataset incluye los siguientes campos: "MarcaModeloVersion", "Combustible", "Precio", "Kilómetros", "Año", "Color", "Fecha de Fabricación", "Ciudad" y "Provincia".</p> <p><strong>Metodología</strong>: La información original fue obtenida mediante técnicas de scraping y posteriormente alterada para crear un conjunto de datos ficticio. Debido a las modificaciones, este dataset no refleja información real del mercado de vehículos.</p> <p><strong>Relevancia</strong>: Este dataset es adecuado para fines educativos y experimentales en análisis de datos, machine learning y pruebas de procesamiento de datasets. Fragmento inferior de mano de mortero ceremonial, elaborado en diorita, presenta iconografía Chavín, como escalonados, diseños geométricos, colmillos de felinos. Acabado final por pulido. Presenta tres fracturas dos de ellas se encuentran restauradas y una tercera fractura fue la que causo la parte faltante del extremo superior de la pieza. River monitoring, particulate Cs-137 measurements and rainfall monintoring of the Mano Dam catchment (Japan) from 2014 to 2019
<p>This dataset is composed of river monitoring, laboratory particulate Cs-137 measurements and rainfall monitoring used in the article: Vandromme, R., Hayashi, S.,Tsuji, H., Evrard, O., Grangeon, T., Landemaine, V., Laceby, J.P., Wakiyama, Y., Cerdan, O. The unprecedented soil decontamination program in Fukushima only reduced radioactive fluxes in rivers by 17% (PNAS, under review) </p> <p>River measurements were conducted by Hayashi S. and Tsuji H. <br> A hydrological station was installed immediately upstream of Mano Dam Lake (Lake Hayama) in June 2014. The water height in the river was measured using an AquiStar PT12 pressure/temperature sensor (INW, Kirkland, WA, USA) at 5-min intervals and then converted into flow rate data using gage curves. Water and SS samples were also collected from the river section using an ISCO 6712 automatic water sampler (Teledyne Technologies, Lincoln, NE, USA) at 1-h intervals during flood events. The SS concentration was determined in the laboratory by filtration using a Whatman GF/F filter with 0.7-µm pores (Cytiva, Tokyo, Japan), and these concentrations were then used to convert the turbidity logs measured by a DTS-12 digital turbidity sensor (FTS Inc., Victoria, BC CANADA) at 5-min intervals into SS logs. <br> This station was damaged by Typhoon Etau in September 2015. Following this damage, the data analysis and discovery of anomalies that persisted until the end of 2016 prompted us to omit the data acquired during this period. The hydrological station was subsequently moved a few hundred meters upstream in 2017. Water flows and sediment concentrations were subsequently acquired using the same systems described above at 10-min intervals until the end of 2019. </p> <p>River water samples were punctually collected to measure 137Cs concentration in Suspended Sediment (SS) (66 measurements during floods) from June 2014 to December 2019 (this chronicle ends in the middle of a flood).</p> <p>Station location before 2017 (coordinate system:WGS84) : lat 37.738391, long 140.803943<br> Station location after 2017 (coordinate system:WGS84) : lat 37.733191, long 140.807709</p> <p>Rainfall record was acquired by the Fukushima Prefecture (Maenori station, lat 37.73644, long 140.74233, coordinate system:WGS84) at 10-minute time steps.</p>

Mano de Mortero - 262475 (Chavín)
Mano de mortero, que presenta diseños iconográficos formativos caracteristicos de Chavín. Fue excavado el 20 de setiembre por Julio Cesar Tello, en el templo de Punkurí (Valle de Nepeña) al pie de la escultura del felino de Pukurí, en el centro de la escalinata central del templo como sello de una estructura arquitectónica religiosa anterior. Fue hallado como parte de los objetos ofrendados en el entierro de una mujer con rostro con pigmentos rojos y violáceos, una huallaquepa (Strombus galeatus), caracoles de loma, cuentas de piedras preciosas y semi preciosas, dos valvas de Spondylus princeps con orificios, junto a un mortero, la cual presenta iconografía formativa por insiciones (pieza L-22274), se cubrió con tierra cuyes y plumas, se niveló el piso y se inicio la siguiente etapa constructiva.
