The Impact of Website Design, E-Service Quality, Satisfaction, Trust to Intention to Purchase Skin Care Products in the E-Marketplace
<p><strong><span>The study aims to identify factors influencing pricing, understand how pricing affects purchase intention and customer satisfaction, and provide valuable insights for skincare businesses to develop effective pricing strategies in Indonesia’s skincare market. The study used a purposive sampling approach, collecting data from 123 respondents who were internet users in Indonesia in January 2024. These respondents have engaged with online retailers to purchase skin care products. The results found that website design affects e-service quality, affecting customer satisfaction and trust. Customer satisfaction and trust have a significant impact on repurchase intentions. This study recommends that skincare businesses focus on website design, provide high-quality e-services, and implement customer satisfaction and loyalty programs. Future research can explore additional factors and conduct similar studies in different locations or product categories.<span> </span></span></strong></p> <p><span>Keywords—Website design, skin care, e-marketplace, purchase intention, customer satisfaction, customer trust, e-service quality.</span></p>
Optimizing Artificial Intelligence (AI) Chatbot Customer Service in Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in E-Marketplace
<p><span>The rise of advanced technologies, such as AI- driven chatbots, enables SMEs in e-marketplaces to provide responsive and efficient customer support, improve engagement, and streamline services. However, customers increasingly express concerns about AI-supported chatbot services, which affects their willingness to engage with these technologies. Consequently, this study aims to examine the factors<span> </span>that<span> </span>influence<span> </span>customers'<span> </span>behavioral<span> </span>intentions<span> </span>to<span> </span>use<span> </span>AI and their intentions for the continued use of AI-supported chatbots. Using a purposive sampling technique, the study collected data from 152 respondents through an online questionnaire. To analyze and predict the findings from the collected data, the study employed PLS-SEM as its statistical approach. The<span> </span>results<span> </span>indicate<span> </span>that<span> </span>information<span> </span>quality, system quality, and service quality significantly influence trust. Furthermore, service quality, perceived ease of use, confirmation of expectations, and perceived usefulness affect user satisfaction. Additionally, confirmation of expectations impacts perceived usefulness, and user satisfaction influences the behavioral intention to use AI chatbots. The findings also reveal that trust, user satisfaction, and perceived usefulness effectively enhance the intention to continue using AI-driven chatbots. However, information quality and system quality do not correlate with user satisfaction, and confirmation of expectations does not relate to<span> </span>user satisfaction. These findings contribute valuable insights to the existing literature on AI- driven chatbot services. Furthermore, stakeholders involved with AI-driven chatbot services for SMEs will gain an understanding<span> </span>of<span> </span>how<span> </span>to<span> </span>enhance<span> </span>user-friendly<span> </span>chatbot<span> </span><span>services.</span></span></p>

Data from: Choice in a floral marketplace: the role of complexity in bumble bee decision-making
Animals have evolved in complex, heterogeneous environments. Thus, decision-making behavior is likely affected by a diversity of co-occurring community-level traits. Here, we investigate how three co-occurring traits of floral communities - the number of flower types, reliability that flowers are associated with a reward, and signal complexity of flowers - affect bumble bee (Bombus impatiens) decision-making. We used arrays of artificial flowers in a full factorial experimental design to assess floral selectivity (preference and constancy), foraging efficiency, and decision latency in foraging bumble bees. We find that our environmental traits uniquely affect each of these behavioral variables, revealing the intricate, yet biologically significant ways that co-occurring environmental traits can affect behavior. Floral selectivity, but not foraging efficiency, is increased by a greater number of choices. Decision latency is greatest when bees are inexperienced foraging in environments with high choice number. Collectively taken, we argue that these results suggest a cost to deciding among many choices, which promotes choice fidelity when many options are present. We suggest that these results have implications for theory on decision-making and selection in biological markets, while demonstrating the importance of studying interactions between naturally co-occurring traits.
