Dieser Revolver hat nur einen Abzug, aber sechs Läufe für Kugeln. Mit jedem Schuss dreht sich das Bündel und ein neuer Lauf kommt zum Abzug. Ungefähr zur Entstehungszeit dieses Revolvers patentierte der Amerikaner Samuel Colt eine neue Art von Revolver, die noch bis heute verwendet wird. Der "Colt" hat üblicherweise eine Trommel für sechs Kugeln, aber nur einen Lauf. Während die Kugeltrommel des Colts zur Befüllung herausnehmbar ist, musste dieser Perkussionsbündelrevolver wie ein Vorderlader vom Lauf her befüllt werden – möglicherweise ein Grund, weshalb sich diese Technik nicht durchgesetzt hat.
