Brain Invaders Solo versus Collaboration: Multi-User P300-based Brain-Computer Interface Dataset (bi2014b)

Summary:

This dataset contains electroencephalographic (EEG) recordings of 38 subjects playing in pair to the multi-user version of a visual P300-based Brain-Computer Interface (BCI) named Brain Invaders (Congedo et al., 2011). The interface uses the oddball paradigm on a grid of 36 symbols (1 Target, 35 Non-Target) that are flashed pseudo-randomly to elicit a P300 response, an evoked-potential appearing about 300ms after stimulation onset. EEG data were recorded using 32 active wet electrodes per subjects (total: 64 electrodes) during three randomized conditions (Solo1, Solo2, Collaboration). The experiment took place at GIPSA-lab, Grenoble, France, in 2014. A full description of the experiment is available at https://hal.archives-ouvertes.fr/hal-02173958. Brain Invaders Cooperative versus Competitive: Multi-User P300-based Brain-Computer Interface Dataset (bi2015b)

Summary:

This dataset contains electroencephalographic (EEG) recordings of 44 subjects playing in pair to the multi-user version of a visual P300 Brain-Computer Interface (BCI) named Brain Invaders. The interface uses the oddball paradigm on a grid of 36 symbols (1 or 2 Target, 35 or 34 Non-Target) that are flashed pseudo-randomly to elicit the P300 response. EEG data were recorded using 32 active wet electrodes per subjects (total: 64 electrodes) during four randomised conditions (Cooperation 1-Target, Cooperation 2-Targets, Competition 1-Target, Competition 2-Targets). The experiment took place at GIPSA-lab, Grenoble, France, in 2015. VR Gaming Dataset - Multi-user tests

This virtual reality (VR) gaming dataset includes Wireshark traces (.csv) and ALVR statistics (.json) for three users (Costas, Miguel, Daniele) playing at the same time in a Wi-Fi 6 network with one access point (AP). We used multiple bitrates (50 Mbps, 100 Mbps, 200 Mbps) and multiple configurations (DCF, DL OFDMA, DL/UL OFDMA, DL/UL OFDMA with MU-MIMO). Costas plays Half-Life: Alyx, while Miguel and Daniele play SteamVR Home. Each configuration includes single-user (SU) results as well, that can be used as a baseline for the multi-user (MU) ones.

Supporting live data sessions in multi-user virtual reality using CAVA360VR

A dense composite 2D video clip showing the different screens and audio chat of three analysts using CAVA360VR (Collaborate, Annotate, Visualise, Analysis 360 video in Virtual Reality) to hold a live virtual data session at a national research conference in 2019. The three co-analysts (M, J and P) in VR were collaborating even though they were in three different physical locations across two countries. The video data that they analysed together involved multicam recordings of six participants in a two-team competition to solve a Lego puzzle when only one member in each group could view the hidden Lego construction in order to instruct the others in their team how to rebuild it from a pile of blocks. The video clip shows the viewport chosen by each of the three analysts. There are three possible viewports that can be selected: a) what they each see in their VR HMD (head-mounted display), b) an over-the-shoulder view (with an outline showing their avatar), and c) a static third-person view of the three analysts. A fourth screen shows the view of an observer in non-VR mode.
