The specimens of N. longisetosa were collected from five localities: Belize, the Florida Keys, the Bahama Islands, Guantanamo Bay (Cuba), and the U.S. Virgin Islands. The two male specimens of N. caraionae (open circles) are slightly longer than females of N. longisetosa, though about the same height.
